After My Event (AME) is a marketplace and community for hosts in the Greater Bay Area, California, to resell or purchase new and secondhand wedding decor and fashion. I am Melissa Hamilton, and the idea of After My Event (AME) first surfaced after my own wedding. I found myself stuck with several decor items and needed help finding where to store them. Now, as a mother of 2 children, I am faced with the same dilemma. After hosting a milestone-themed birthday party or school event, I am left with many decor items I know can enjoy a good home with another host. My passion for sustainability and reducing costs have driven me to create AME.

Our platform is free, clean, and navigation-friendly. Our motto is, "Don't waste good taste!" Often, after a big event, many goods get thrown away or stored in the garage.
