I hired Marie-Margot Bridal Couture to alter my mother’s wedding dress to not only fit me, but to update the gown for a more modern look by removing the 1980’s sleeves.

From my very first visit trying on the dress and talking through ideas, I knew Maggie was the person to redesign the dress to fit me and my style. After alternations were complete, I absolutely loved the look of my dress. She followed through on all her ideas and executed them perfectly.

I would rate my entire experience 5-stars and I highly recommend Marie-Margot Bridal Couture for your bridal alternations and designs.

I had such a pleasant experience working with Maggie. My wedding dress had a LOT of detail, layers, and lace and she was very delicate with the alterations. She was also communicative and confirmed appointments with me, was able to shift my third appointment when I fell busy at work, and her pricing is very competitive. Another alterations store quoted me $1800 for my dress, which was outrageous. She explains her thought process based on her expertise on bridal couture but doesn’t make any decisions without the brides weigh-in. Highly recommend Maggie!!

Working with Maggie was such a delight! I looked all over for someone who could help me customize my dress with not a ton of time. I wanted a custom veil and over skirt to go with my dress. She helped me come up with a vision and was so flexible and sweet to work with. She has such an artistic eye and was even able to incorporate some pieces from my mother’s dress! So fabulous and talented, and at a very fair price! So will recommend her to every bride I know!

I came to Maggie for last minute alterations on my wedding dress. She fit me into her schedule, was extremely calm and reassuring and had great solutions to the problems I was having with the dress. Her work was extremely well done. I wish I could hire Maggie for all my alterations.

She really knows what she's doing and you can tell by watching her work. I am not worried at all about how my dress will turn out. Thats how I know I picked a great seamstress.

I have never been one of those women who enjoy shopping or trying on clothes so I was originally planning on getting "just something" to wear for my wedding that wouldn't require a lot of thought or effort. However, Maggie was wonderful in guiding me through the process and making the whole thing a lot of fun. My dress was beautiful and really reflected my tastes and personality. I would definitively recommend Maggie to anyone who wants a timeless and unique dress for a special day.

Maggie was great to work with and created a beautiful wedding dress for me! It was great to collaborate with her on the design, shop for the perfect fabric and overall to have a dress custom-made for me. I was very happy with the dress that Maggie made for my wedding. She listened to my ideas and created a fantastic dress that was perfect for my summer wedding.

This woman lost my daughters wedding dress. We showed up to her second fitting and she said she left it at home. We rescheduled for a week later, showed up, and she said she had lost it! WHAT? HOW? It was so horrible.

If I could give Marie-Margot Bridal Couture 0 stars, I would. Similar to the review from 5 months ago, she ruined my dress and I now have to spend hundreds more to fix it. My first appointment after dropping the dress off with her, she rescheduled because she had a "stomach bug." After rescheduling that appointment to a few weeks later, she hadn't even started working on my dress when I showed up. During the appointment she started cutting up my dress muttering phrases like "uh oh..." and "whoops." At one point, she thought she put the corset in the dress inside out.... She then told me that she's more surprised than anybody when she actually does something correctly when making alterations.
The second appointment, I showed up and her response was that my dress was at her house so we would need to reschedule the appointment. So, we rescheduled for the following week. The following week appointment time arrived and she told me she had gotten into a car accident and couldn't meet at her regular studio and needed to meet at her other location. Her other location is just her house so I showed up to that and she STILL was not done working on the dress even though we had discussed the fact that I had expected to take it home the week before. I spent 45 minutes waiting at her house for her to finish working on my dress. I spent hundreds of dollars for her to make the dress fit me and it still did not by the end. Side note, she told me that if any beads fall off of a dress while she's working on it, she just picks them up and saves them for later instead of putting them back on the dress correctly.
Horrible experience and I don't recommend her to anybody. Definitely DO NOT GO TO HER even if the dress store next door recommends.
