Born in Greece, in 1973, I live in Kavala, a beautiful city in the north-east of the country,enjoying my profession: photography. I had the good fortune to grow up near an internationally recognized and award - winning photographer, a true artist in this field, my father Dimitrios Tsakiris. He taught me not only all about photography but passed on to me the passion for this profession. Besides being an apprentice to my father, I successfully completed my studies of photography at the E.S.P. (European Studies of Photography) in Thessaloniki, for three years where I was specialized in the digital processing of image. My mother is Austrian, a very refined person; I therefore had the privilege of growing up in a home with two quite different cultures; it taught me being open-minded. I also appreciate music, art and travels. Creating pictures that have a story to tell is my objective and my work reflects this target. Satisfying my customers beyond their expectations is my goal. Wedding photography has always been one of my favorite themes. The photographic approach to such an event has changed radically throughout the years.
