Maria was the 15th wedding planner that we interviewed, and while others had elements we liked, we did not feel that we had found someone with the "whole package" yet. However, after our initial call with Maria we realized that we could finally stop searching, as the combination of her warm personality, boutique approach to clients, and experience working with couples from abroad (and especially diaspora Greeks) won us over instantly. Additionally, her attention to detail, organizational skills, and aesthetic sensibilities gave us full confidence that we could entrust her with the design and execution of our three-day wedding - no easy task!

Throughout the planning process, Maria kept us informed via monthly Zoom calls, near-daily emails, and the incredible wedding planning software that she uses. Despite the seven-hour time difference between us, she was extraordinarily accessible and responsive, and there was no question or concern too small for her to address. Although we have very busy work schedules and could at times be indecisive due to the number of quality options that were offered for each venue and vendor, she was remarkably patient and kind. Even during the "worst" parts of the planning process, such as dealing with bureaucracy and RSVPs from a large and complex guest list, Maria was always there to help and give us the feeling that everything would be okay in the end :)

The weekend of the wedding, we lost track of how many compliments we received at each event - guests were absolutely blown away by the thought put into every single element, from the thematic decorations to the favors they received. During all three days, Maria coordinated with vendors, made sure the timeline was adhered to, and took care of any small "hiccups" that arose so that we didn't have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy every moment!

For context, we’re a Greek-American couple and worked with Maria starting in Fall 2024 to plan a 2025 Greek Orthodox religious wedding ceremony and reception in the Athens Riviera, which also included pre- and post-wedding events.

This was a massive undertaking, and my wife and I interviewed over a dozen planners. After talking with Maria, we immediately knew we found the right one. What I really appreciated when initially speaking with Maria is that she told us she was committed to designing our wedding, as opposed to giving us a one-size-fits-all package deal. She asked questions and helped piece together the vision, while making it clear she would never pressure us to do something one specific way.

We were on a slightly more accelerated timeline (10 months out), but thanks to Maria everything worked out perfectly. Throughout the process Maria was highly organized, extremely transparent, and incredibly patient. She was with us every step of the way to help identify the right venues, select the best vendors, facilitate with the Church, help with invitations/guest management, and give us invaluable advice based on her extensive experience.

The wedding and events Maria created for us exceeded our wildest expectations. Every last event was exceptional and everything was done with care down to the last detail. She and her team were also there every step of the way, and all of our events were organized down to the minute (her timeline sheets are the most organized thing I’ve ever seen).

Maria also went above and beyond to make our wedding a success. There were various things she and her team did for us that weren’t in the job description but really made her stand out.

Besides her professional expertise, Maria is also a wonderful person who truly cares about her clients and takes time to get to know the people she works with on a personal level. Planning a wedding is difficult, and Maria always showed us kindness and compassion throughout the process. There were many occasions where she stayed with us on calls to listen to our worries, concerns, and anxieties (some event related, some just personal). She would give both professional and personal advice, always with a sense of humor and reassurances that things would work out.

We forged a close connection that continues to this day, and I’m so grateful we worked with her. She was true to her word; she designed our wedding, and it was magnificent. I couldn’t make a stronger recommendation and would encourage any couple to hire her for their special day.
