Mari Hashimoto, Violinist, is a professional violin player based out of Greenville, SC. With over two decades of experience, know that she can make your celebrations all the more memorable.

Services Offered

Mari's performances are rooted in story-telling. Through music, especially classical music, she wants all in attendance to be transported and immersed in romance. She is also well-versed in upbeat contemporary music and can put on a show solo or as part of an ensemble. She can make the latter possible because she is the violinist for Carolina Primrose, a string quartet that serves the Western North Carolina and Charlotte Metropolitan area. Mari's wedding package includes the following:

Wonderful musicianship and professional communication

We chose ViolinMari to provide a violin-viola duo for our wedding and cocktail hour, and we couldn't have been happier with the choice! Leading up to the event, Mari was proactive and professional with communications. She worked with us to help us choose the perfect songs for our ceremony to match the tone we wanted. Her available selection had everything we needed, but we had a couple unusual requests for songs that were special to us and she was happy to accommodate with custom arrangements. To help us decide between a couple songs, she made recording so we could hear what the string versions would sound like, and she also sent audio files of the custom arrangements so we could listen in advance and know they met our expectations. Mari provided classical music for the ceremony and contemporary for the cocktail hour, and we were pleased with all of it. We loved the tone the music set, and our guests loved the music, too!

Amazing - Everyone enjoyed!

Mari was so easy to work with, has a great listing of songs to choose from, and was perfect for the wedding! Very talented and the perfect touch to our big day!

Incredible!

Working with Mari was a fantastic experience! She answered any questions I had along the way in a timely manner with thorough details. On the day of, she was extremely pleasant and was set up and ready to begin playing well in advance. Her performance at my wedding will be one of the most memorable parts of the day! Thank you Mari!

Beautiful wedding ceremony music!

Mari was extremely responsive and organized during the planning process, which lead to her seamless execution on during our wedding ceremony! She is a very gifted musician with a wide range of songs to pick from.

Couldn't recommend more!

We could not recommend booking with Mari more! Mari performed during our wedding ceremony and provided postlude and prelude music, she even helped out with our officiant's microphone (which was not her responsibility but MUCH appreciated!) Mari learned a few special songs for us and sent us sample recordings before we finalized our decision, which was great. She is a very talented musician and her performance really tied together our ceremony. Mari was also very proactive in following up/scheduling meetings so it took a lot off of our plate throughout the wedding planning process in general!

Highly recommend!

So happy we found Mari -- she was a great vendor to work with!! We were late in the planning process to book Mari, but she was patient and responsive to our questions and requests. We really enjoyed having the violin for our ceremony and cocktail hour, and our guests were impressed too. And given our outdoor venue, she was able to adapt quickly to new/different technical setups.

Great violinist for a perfect day. :D

We couldn't have asked for a more amazing violinist for our wedding day. She was absolutely epic — not only did she bravely play through the cold wind without missing a beat, but she also learned our favorite video game theme song just for us. I got to walk down the aisle to Riders of Rohan also! It meant the world to hear something so personal and special as we walked down the aisle. She was incredibly easy to work with from start to finish, and brought such a magical, emotional touch to our ceremony. We’re so grateful for her talent, her dedication, and the beautiful atmosphere she helped create on our big day. Highly, highly recommend!

Great experience working with Mari!

I really enjoyed working with Mari for my elopement ceremony. She is incredibly professional and made the process very simple. She was very quick to respond to any emails, and she was also very helpful with the music selection. Mari's music at the ceremony was beautiful, and she made our small occasion feel so special.

She was very attentive and though there was some pause in communication due to the hurricane, she made sure to make me feel like that everything would be OK, and it was! Great musician and amazing person.
