Margot Hill is a full-service wedding venue located in Malakoff, Texas, that provides a stunning location to host your wedding ceremony and reception just 5 minutes from the beautiful Cedar Creek Lake. You and the wedding party have full access to the property for up to 14 hours among the outdoor ceremony space, reception hall, and Modern + Industrial Chapel coming July 2022.

For outdoor ceremonies, you can say "I do" at Water’s Edge, overlooking a serene private lake, luscious greens, and mature trees. After the ceremony is over, the state-of-the-art reception hall, the Venue, is just a short walk away. This stunning space feels modern yet welcoming in design with beautiful dark wood beams, tall ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the natural and wooden landscapes. There is indoor and outdoor space in the Venue along with a 1,500-square-foot covered veranda where you can host a cocktail hour before your guests move inside for the reception. There is a professional catering kitchen and built-in restrooms for convenience.

The Chapel building is 3,200 sq ft and can seat up to 230 in pews. There is also a public restroom, groom's quarters, and bridal suite. The open-air option is great for pretty weather days, but there is the ability to close the sides for a climate-controlled setting during non-peak season.

BEST VENUE EVER—Beautiful & natural

Margot Hill was the MOST special place to have our wedding. I truly can’t come up with enough wonderful words to say about the venue & the owners. My husband & I’s wedding was an english garden tea party brunch wedding. The space was exactly what we envisioned for the day to host all of our favorite people for the first time as a married couple. It was whimsical, natural & elegant. My bridesmaid and I stayed in the vrbo— it was comfortable & very homey! We used the grass area across from the pond for the reception with a large white sailcloth tent. It was truly the most wonderful & worshipful day. Margot Hill Venue & the owners were a true a reflection of our Ultimate Creator— the day was beautiful— all glory to our God!!!

Such a wonderful, beautiful place, and an everlasting experience

Having my wedding at Margot Hill was a dream come true for me. It was so perfect from the piece of land where it sat to the most wonderful good hearted owners you could ever meet. Friends and family kept telling me, you will know when you find the venue for you and they were right. None of them had hit me like Margot Hill did when me and my now husband drove in through those front gates. There was something about the landscape that struck me. How this big beautiful home sat on top of the hill overlooking a big beautiful pond surrounded by luscious trees all around and how the venue itself faced the pond as well. After meeting Abby and talking to her about the venue, I knew this was my venue. I was in search for my perfect venue for about a month and had visited well over 30 venues before I came upon this one. I was by this point stressed out to say the least. I was afraid that I would never find the right venue but Margot Hill changed that for me. One of the many beauties about Margot Hill is the simplicity yet so elegance of it. I had so many compliments on how beautiful of a place I had chosen. Abby and Logan left an everlasting impression in our hearts and I could not have asked for more patient and good hearted souls to work with in this experience. They did so much more than just run a venue. They poured their hearts into it and it showed. They helped in making our day a perfect day. Thank you to Abby and Logan Misegades and their beautiful family. Many many blessings and well wishes to them and for the continued success of Margot Hill in making a girls dream wedding come true.

Absolutely amazing!

Abby was the best person we could of ever had a part of our day! The venue was gorgeous and she was there every step of the way to help make it the best night of our lives! It’s because of her I wish I could do it all over again!

I love this location

I have not yet had my wedding but they are amazing! They have keep in contact with me since day one. We had to change some stuff with our package and they have assisted without any trouble! They are so sweet and truly working to make sure that each and every bride as well as groom feels special in there wedding day!
