Marek is a photographic genius! His design eye and creativity are so unlike typical wedding photographers. This was my husband and I’d second trip down the aisle and we wanted to make it memorable. We noticed that Marek used different angles, lighting, and other incredibly unique shooting techniques to really amplify the colors and decor in a wedding. On the day of he went above and beyond my wildest dreams. We got unedited photos within 24 hours, and I am still picking my jaw up off the floor. They are stunning, and I told my husband over and over again just how much we loved working with him! Marek did a phenomenal job photographing our wedding. He showed up looking incredibly professional. We were married at a venue he had never shot before, and he had an entire game plan because of all the prep work he put in. He even knew about locations like the cellar, which he couldn't scope out in person because it is closed off to visitors, because of his online research. When my officiant got frustrated about the 'interference' the photography was going to cause during the ceremony, Marek again handled it professionally and effectively, smoothing the whole thing over without me having to do anything (and ensuring we would get all the great photos we were planning on). At the end of the evening, I asked my brother (who is also a photographer) what he thought about Marek and he said, "he knocked it out of the park." When I got the photographs (in way less time than I expected), I couldn't agree more. I blew one up to 24x36 and have it hanging in my living room - it looks like it came out of a magazine and we get compliments on it all the time. If you are looking for a photographer, do yourself a favor and hire Marek right now.

Marek is hands-down the best wedding photographer you're going to get. I have been told time and time again that our wedding photos are "the best photographs I've ever seen"!

We did an engagement shoot a month before our wedding in a place that's near and dear to my heart. Marek did a gorgeous job capturing the beauty of the land as well as the love between my fiance and I. He didn't work by the hour, but instead said he would continue until we got the best possible pictures. This really meant a lot to us as it felt like he cared more about the art than the money. I am glad we did an engagement shoot before the wedding, as it allowed us to get to know him and feel really comfortable. He is funny and sarcastic and really put us at ease.

On our wedding day, Marek and his photography assistant divided locations between my husband and I in order to get the best getting-ready shots. He took care to photograph all the details of the flowers and decor that I had put a lot of heart into. It rained the day of our wedding but Marek turned those shots into the most incredible pictures possible. Some said they were even more beautiful than if it hadn't rained! His incredible talent with natural and added lighting, as well as night photography makes his photos stand out against anyone else's. Every special moment throughout the evening he captured, even the little unexpected surprises. But, we barely noticed him photographing as he was an expert at being subtle! We were blown away by his work and are so grateful we have those photographs to treasure the memories of our wedding!

I was excited to work with Marek after seeing his work online. We got to see some sneak peaks last night and I cannot wait to see all of our pictures. I would remarry my husband all over again just to use him for more pictures! Run! Don’t walk to Marek for your wedding! He is AMAZING!!!!!!

Marek was the perfect photographer for our Charlottesville wedding! He and his second shooter, Alex, were so lovely to work with on the day of and the finished product is beautiful. Marek was calm, cool, and collected as he wrangled our large families for photos and also captured some amazing candid shots during our reception.

I recently got married on June 17th, and I could probably write a book about how pleased I was with Marek K. Photography. When I was first searching for a photographer everyone's prices were extremely high. Pictures were one of the things that was really important to me for my wedding. I did not want pictures that everyone else had and I loved pictures that had an artistic look to them. Marek actually took pictures at my sisters wedding and I was so pleased with him that I decided to book him for my own wedding. I am so glad I decided to book with Marek because I got everything I was hoping for. I got the artistic pictures that not everyone will have, I got someone who was reasonably priced, I got someone who was professional, and someone who truly cared about making me happy on my wedding day. Marek really tries to work with the bride and groom in any way that he can and works his but off through the whole wedding. There was not one moment where I saw him sitting or standing around. He was always trying to get as many shots as he possible could and was always moving at 5,000 miles per hour. One example that shows that Marek truly cares about the bride and groom on their special day is that if it rains on your wedding day he is willing to come back to the venue another day to get the shots that the bride and groom were hoping to capture. I can guarantee there is only a handful of photographers who actually would do that for a bride and groom. It actually was going to storm the night of my wedding but I was not as worried about it because I knew Marek would get me the pictures I wanted and would even get me some epic rain shots. With all that being said, if you have not checked out his website do so NOW. I promise you that you will not regret booking with him!

Marek did an amazing job on our wedding this past weekend. He is extremely creative and clearly knows his craft VERY well. He helped us through a situation we had with our venue and still got some epic shots! He was willing to go above and beyond to make sure that our day was captured spectularily. Highly recommend!

Marek did an excellent job with our engagement photos and was a true joy to work with. He is such an intrinsically creative, outside-the-box thinker who is passionate for what he does. He truly immerses himself in the art of what he is doing and his attention to detail is impeccable and his talent is undeniable.

Marek took the time to get to know my husband and I and our personalities so that our personalities dictated the type of photos he took. He did not simply take stale, redundant shots that he has taken a million times with every other couple (and that every other photographer has done a thousand times). He works hard for the personality of his subject to shine through, and it always does.

On top of his artistic talent, and the fact that he is a complete joy to work with, Marek also has some top-of-the-line equipment, and it shows in his shots. You see every single blade of grass, every single tree branch in full living color as if you could reach out and touch it, better yet, as if it were reaching out at you. His camera picks up the finest of details, and the shots are amazing.

For our wedding day, Marek took some really fun, innovative shots and captured our personality and the personality of the venue. I am so thankful for the opportunity to work with him. The pleasure of working with him was one of the highlights of an otherwise very hectic season. He makes everything flow so naturally and takes the stress out of it all. He has his eye on the smallest of details so you don't have to, and that is precisely what we needed. I recommend Marek to anyone who wants fun, creative photos that are true works of art.
