One of the things we appreciated most was how well she captured natural and organic moments. Our wedding was quite large, with many guests, and she handled it all seamlessly, ensuring that everyone was included in the photos without missing any important moments. The candid shots of our first dances were particularly special.

Communication with her was excellent; she was always responsive over text/phone and even helped us put together the timeline of photos, calling us a few times to ensure everything was perfect. To top it all off, she was quick in delivering our photos, allowing us to relive our special day sooner than we expected.

Mara was INCREDIBLE. The photo room we were in was a bit small but Mara was able to Tetris everyone to fit the space perfectly! She was so kind and made us feel so comfortable. We can’t wait to see the final photos. We wanted to add an extra half hour as the day was flying and Mara had no problem staying to capture some additional moments. I would recommend Mara to anyone that is looking for a photographer with vision and also flexible to make changes and adjustments that arise from the day!

Mara was such a fantastic photographer. She was very detailed, showed up early, and was sure to get alllll the shots, all the angles, and if she wasn't happy with a shot, she would retake it over again until she was content with her work! She was so sweet, so helpful, and just overall wonderful. We love all of our wedding photos so much. I would choose her again and again!

My wife and I had the distinct honor and pleasure of working with Mara for not only our engagement photos, but for our big day! My wife and I were looking for a photography/videography company within the area that would capture the important and special moments on our big day. Everything was going perfectly! We had found the perfect venue location, Celebrations at the Bay, a year out. All that was left was for us to find was a photographer and videographer. However, we were worried that we would break our budget. We searched for months before we found Video Express Productions. From the beginning, Julie and Mark were very kind and enthusiastic. They welcomed us to their Virginia location to show us their previous works of art. At this time, we were able to see all the beautiful moments between the couples they had worked with previously. They were exactly what my wife and I were looking for! On our wedding day, they sent out the best of the best photographers, MARA, to cover our special moments. Mark and Mara were so amazing, that at times, I almost forgot that they were there. Video Express Productions supplied us with a photobooth so we could view all our friends and family enjoying themselves. This photobooth was very important to us because it allowed us to view special moments that we were not present for during the festivities. With the photobooth, we were able to see how excited our friends and family members were on our special day. They were able to joke around, be goofy, and have fun! Our videos, photos, highlight video were stunning and perfect. Mara's and Mark's quality and professionalism were well worth the prices and did not break our budget. Julie, Mark, and Mara were extremely kind, caring, and professional and have become a part of our family. WE HIGHLY recommend Mark and Mara to anyone who is planning a wedding. My wife and I definitely plan to use them again when we have family photos.
