I've been a fan of MangoRed Photography for years now. They're in the Philippines, and so I assumed that they would not be able to travel, but I shot em an email anyways, and they agreed to shoot my wedding!! Ryan & Marc who shot my wedding are awesome, cool, kick back, and their style is all about capturing your wedding in the moment. They're not pushy, they don't direct, they just let you do your thing. Of course they'll direct a little bit, capturing certain posed shots, but other than that, they're like ninjas.

The caliber of their photography and what they offer in their package is SO worth flying them over! Their style is definitely unique, artistic, and beautiful. These guys are majorly sought after and are the superstar wedding photographers in all of Southeast Asia!!! They shoot celebrities and politicians!! Just visit their blog, you will be in awe of their work!

The designs in their wedding photo albums are what sold me. They artistically design each book to cater to who the couple are. Not all albums are the same. And so you know that your album is going to be completely different and special.

The only ONE negative thing that I will have to say, and I only say this in hopes that MangoRed fix the situation so that other soon-2-be brides don't go through the same frustration that I went through:
There was major lack of communication between me and their response assistant (I won't mention her name). She would not respond to my fiance's emails, until I emailed her - in which would take days if not weeks for a response. Her emails were vague and lacked major information that could have resulted in the photographers not having a hotel to stay in. I told the photographers about my frustration upon arrival and they were SUPER understanding and relaxed about the situation and said that they would fix it as soon as they get back in the office.

I consider myself to be super relaxed and leave a lot of room for error, but having MangoRed in the Philippines and me in Los Angeles, and to have email as my ONLY mode of communication, I don't think that I should be stressing out about my photographers a week before my wedding!

Other than that, I highly recommend MangoRed to everyone getting married!

When my fiancee and I got engaged, we agreed that we wanted MangoRed to pull of our engagement shoot. They were edgy and their images exude quality. That was not the case for us.

We spent around $3000 US for all the expenses that day and being in Manila, that amount of money for one day shoot for a middle class citizens is fairly exuberant. So we shot for 3-4 hours on location (we were late as we fetched our stylist), thanks were given and a meal was eaten to close off a hard day's work.

When we got the raw files, I was shocked by the poor quality of the shots. Most were a blurred mess either through camera shake or back focusing issues. The things was, and they confirmed it, one of their wide angle lenses had back focusing issues. They never tested out their equipment before going to the shoot and asssumed everything will be good. For being one of the most expensive photographers in Manila, it was unacceptable. I am an amateur photog as well and I know before I do my street photography to check my equipment if there are issues.

I can say a lot more horrible things about the service. The meeting with one of the owners didn't help as well and I can say I am truly disappointed with what they delivered for us. Don't let their big name fool you. If you want a fancy prenup shoot, hire a stylist (Rabbithole Creatives is excellent) and another photographer (Lito Sy, Dino Lara, Metrophoto, etc) and I bet they will do a million times better.
