Chez did a great job helping me and my bridesmaids prepare for the wedding. She really listened to what I wanted (natural, for an outdoor wedding) rather than going for a "wedding look". She also took the time to do a trial and gave me a makeup lesson so I could do my own for future occasions. On top of it all, she was fun to work with!

I'm not much of a makeup person, and neither is my mom, so I decided early on that it would be worth it to have someone do my makeup and my mom's for my wedding in June. I found Chez through Project Wedding, and I really liked that the makeup in her pictures showed people looking good, but not overly made-up. That is the perfect description of what she did for my wedding, and I couldn't have been happier.

Chez was really easy to work with and to talk to -- I felt like I was talking to a friend more than a hired consultant. She made me feel really comfortable with makeup, and even did the same with my mom. My mom said that she felt like she wasn't wearing any makeup at all, which was amazing given that my mom had recently fallen and had some severe bruising and bumps on her face that needed covering. My mom also got a makeup lesson, since Chez explained what she was doing along the way.

The makeup definitely lasted -- my eyes still looked great the next morning!

Chez offers some extra services that I took her up on -- I had her do the makeup for my engagement photo shoot so I could see how it photographed (result: it was wonderful). I also had her meet me at the mall and help me pick out makeup that I could use in my everyday look.

I couldn't have been happier with everything, and I appreciated as well that Chez was affordable, even with all of the "extras."
