My name is Kay Kremer and I have been in the beauty industry for over 15 years. With a Bachelor of Arts in Textiles and Apparel, I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2003. I have always had a passion for makeup and the cosmetic industry. In 2004 I began working for Clarins Cosmetics. After receiving training from the Clarins Creative Color Director's from Paris at Clarins USA in New York City, I started working in Kansas City as Clarins Professional Makeup Artist. As Clarins Professional Makeup Artist I focused on the education of product knowledge, makeup demonstration and application technique for clients. It was an amazing and fulfilling experience to help and show women how to look and feel their best.

In 2007 I decided to look for ways to gain more experience and left Clarins and began working for MAC Cosmetics. While working for MAC I was able to become a Product Specialist, as well as, gain endless training and application technique from the leaders of the cosmetic industry. Working for MAC enabled me to learn the latest trends in technique and application.

Leaving MAC in 2009 as a full time employee, I decided I wanted to work for myself and become a Freelance Artist. The move to becoming a Professional Freelance Artist has enabled me to be apart of so many wonderful weddings and meet so many beautiful brides. It is a wonderful feeling to be apart of someone's very special day.

Over the years of networking and learning the ins and outs of the industry I have gained many years of experience in product knowledge, demonstration and application of cosmetics. I continue to focus on the latest trends in bridal makeup and enjoy helping my clients feel their very best on their special day. The most important person is the bride and she must always look and feel her best.

I am an on-location artist in Cedar Rapids, IA and surrounding areas who will to come to you. I use all professional long-wearing products and offer trials and consultations. My goal is to help the bride and bridal party have an easy and amazing experience. I love helping others feel beautiful.
