Reviews of Magnolia Event Rentals LLC
Amazing and Unique Vendor with Beautiful Rentals
Their style has that something old, but new appeal that I see trending with future brides- a Vintage Victorian Elegance.
Magnolia provided the furniture for the guest seating during my ceremony.
There were colorful velvet tufted sofas and chases, mixed with rocking chairs, love seats with fringe detailing, and wooden cross back chairs. Candle lit Crystal chandlers hung on trees nearby. It was such a romantic setting, portraying timeless elegance, and could not have been more perfect.
Highly Recommended!

Mixed Feelings
I was so happy with the way everything turned out I hired them again for my wedding.
Unlike my bridal shower, there weren’t as many moving parts here as Magnolia was only providing rental items for three key areas of the wedding - the ceremony area, the seating chart display, and our sweetheart table. Even though the rental wasn’t as plentiful as the bridal shower, these were significant parts of the wedding. Everything was fine until we weren’t receiving answers our emails, calls and texts for a period of time one month from the big day. It wasn’t until two weeks before the wedding that we FINALLY received a response at which point we had made other arrangements in case Magnolia fell through.
Ultimately their execution on the day of the wedding was flawless, but it was a journey to get there.
Disappointing Wedding Rental Experience
Run from this vendor
The flowers on my wedding day were so bad and completely off from what I asked for/contracted that myself (in my wedding gown) and the venue staff removed them before guests came into the ballroom which caused me to miss my cocktail hour. My husband who doesn’t even notice anything and always thinks everything looks great thought they looked terrible and told me he didn’t want to say anything to me on our wedding day when he saw them before me.
I had nothing but amazing experiences with all of my vendors for my wedding - except magnolia. I read reviews like this from other brides and I ignored them thinking they were one offs. But after speaking to a handful of brides who used them, it was clear that this was a pattern for them. They have a terrible reputation despite what the “google reviews” say. In my opinion a majority of the reviews on here are either fake, from people they know, or they are a bipolar company offering vastly different services across their customer base. Never have I met such an unprofessional and unethical business. Please RUN from them - you will regret it if you don’t.
Below are the consistent experiences other brides have had working with them including myself:
1. Extremely Difficult to work with - defensive with an attitude, making you feel like they are doing you a favor by paying them to service you, late or no responses to emails, disorganized, forgetful.
2. They will threaten you - 2-3 weeks out from my wedding day they threatened to cancel my floral contract because they were annoyed that I was upset they couldn’t get the flowers they originally told me they could. They said it was because the flowers weren’t in season. A) Why was this communicated 2-3 weeks out from my wedding day and not when design was finalized months in advance ? The season of my wedding was always fall. B) Why am I being threatened because they’re unable to deliver what they promised ?
3. They are dishonest - they will tell you one thing and not follow through. For example, after what they did to me on my wedding day, they said they would refund me a portion for the flowers. They kept saying the check was in the mail (oldest excuse in the book, also I paid via credit card a simple refund on the original payment method would suffice) - 2 months of asking where the refund is, and still no refund. Now we are suing them.
4. Pay more get less - You will get WAY less than what you paid for (across every bride I spoke to, every single one of them said this. They were shocked with the quality and amount of florals they got for how much they charge. For example I got a quote from the top lush florist in NJ for my venue that does the BEST work and is in tons of magazines, they were cheaper than magnolia who doesn’t have the reputation or quality of work to match their prices. Only reason I didn’t book the other florist is because they were unavailable on my date. Biggest mistake - should of kept looking for other options.
5. You want to pay for a trial? Better luck next time. I had asked for a trial 10 different times starting a year in advance of my wedding. They told me I needed to wait until we were closer to the wedding. So I waited until they told me to and when I asked again they said they didn’t have time. They then said they would do a spray paint sample and send me a pic since they couldn’t do an in person trial and that was also a lie. I reminded them several times about the sample and they just simply never did it. They told me I needed to “trust them” and that they knew what they we’re doing. So I did - and I ended up in tears on my wedding day.
