Jenn Laskey/ Weddings by JL who created and oversees the event divsion at Madea and is the preferred planner for many of our weddings...
We are seasoned wedding and event pros and have been in the event business for 19 years and have done over 450+++ weddings and have a creative, artistic approach to weddings while being extremely detailed oriented and understand all aspects of the hospitality business while having a stellar design eye! A lot of clients have been kind enough to say I was worth my weight in gold for all the help and ease of stress I provided them throughout the entire planning process and of course running the show the ever important wedding day - you don’t have to stress that the right decision will be made with someone with my experience level and general knowledge base (weddings are stressful enough already, right?!) I have a handful of proud saved the day stories, but in a perfect world you work with good ppl and plan everything so well nothing can go wrong (thou I’ve had the occasional freak rain storm, power outage, or crazy person to complicate things, and I always know what to do so that the audience doesn’t know anything is wrong, of course!). Also I have gained a lot of experience over the past many months of covid compliance within the restaurant world and applying that to safely doing weddings.
