Macrina Bakery was great to work with for our two-tiered wedding cake. We had a wonderful experience with Mariah – she decorated the cake just as we wanted and we had our florist leave flowers for her to use on-site the day of the wedding. And of course, the cake was delicious! We got two different flavors so that each tier was different (the tuxedo and the almond cake). The prices were extremely reasonable compared to other bakeries we looked at because they don’t decorate with the fondant. Even though we were below budget on the cake, we saved some more money by having the small cake and then having our venue cut up a sheet cake to serve our guests. Would definitely recommend Macrina and working with Mariah. I’m salivating just thinking about how delicious our cake was! And it was the only thing for the entire wedding in which we came in under budget.

Macrina Bakery had far and above the most delicious cakes we tasted, really no one else even came close. (fresh raspberries, heaven!) We were pleasantly surprised then to discover the cost was equal to or even less than other vendors we looked at. The cake was delivered and set up absolutely on time and looked absolutely perfect--just exactly what we had anticipated and ordered. I can't imagine any way that they could have been better!

The cake was delicious and not too costly. There was no charge for delivery in Seattle. The bakery adds minor decorations for free and was able to match my wedding colors to decorate with polka dots all over my cake. It looked amazing!
