As a photographer myself, I had high standards for our wedding photographer! We were looking for someone with a true-to-life, bright, timeless style and Mackenzie was THAT GIRL. We had so much fun during our engagement session, and she and her second shooter, Becky, captured everything and more on our wedding day. One huge perk was that Mackenzie offers a flat lay details session as a complimentary service before wedding day. We packed up all our details a couple weeks in advance and she picked them up from our house, sourced some loose florals that matched our florist’s plan, captured everything at her home studio, and delivered everything back to us the same day. We didn’t have to worry about having flat lay details gathered for the day-of and Mackenzie used that time on wedding day to capture candid moments and final touches. At the end of the night, she surprised us with some mini printed sneak peeks from the day in a beautiful little book. We cannot wait to see our full gallery!

Mackenzie takes amazing photos and is so much fun to work with. Very high level of professionalism and quality from start (pre-wedding meetings/discussions/forms,etc.) to finish (final wedding photo gallery). Her best shots were of the most important moments of our wedding - I would highly recommend Mackenzie if having a photographer that gets it absolutely right is important for your wedding.

Mackenzie was great to work with. She was very fun, professional and easy going. She took a great variety of classic shots of the bride and groom, the families and some great candid shots of all of the wedding guests. I was very happy with all my images and had a hard time choosing my favorites. I would highly recommend Mackenzie for your upcoming wedding.

Mackenzie was professional in every sense of the word. On what was a very hectic day for my wife and me, she was poised and efficient. She showed up early and stayed late. She had done her due diligence and knew exactly where we were going for our pictures, how she wanted to light them, where we would stand, etc, and we breezed through them. When it came time for pictures with the extended families she had everything organized in such a way that they were done quickly and without a lot of drama. During the ceremony she was unobtrusive while stilling framing her shots. My wife had been on the fence for a long time about getting a videographer as well, but I'm so glad we didn't. Weddings I have been to with a videographer really turned me off to them; having the bright light and the camera following you around all night is sort of a buzz kill for me. Mackenzie captured all the moments I would've wanted on video without the fuss, inconvenience, and ostentation. And the pictures with everyone on the dance floor are absolutely priceless.

The quality of the photography is excellent. We have her pictures hanging all over our house. She did a fantastic job with the technical aspects of wedding photography - the ceremony, portraits with our families, table settings, all that boring stuff my wife loves. But I'm not really a formal stiff, and she was able to match my spontaneous goofiness and capture moments, that to me, are really what the wedding was about. The smiles, the tears, the ridiculous dancing. Her pictures transport my wife and me back to those moments, and I am so thankful to her for that gift.

Mackenzie was extremely thoughtful, careful, sensitive, and genuinely excited about capturing every beautiful moment on my wedding day. I have looked over my photos countless times and know I will treasure them forever! Could not have asked for a better photographer! :)

Mackenzie was fantastic! She was organized, flexible, and low stress. She helped plan everything necessary to get the photos we wanted and she was extremely timely in editing the photos and getting them to us after the event. I would recommend her to anyone who wants an excellent wedding photographer.
