I hired Diane to help my husband and I prepare for our September 2021 wedding vow renewal. I found her through the Life Celebrant Institute website, but she also happened to be on our venue's preferred vendor list. We initially did a small backyard wedding during COVID lockdown in September 2020 and then did a large reception a year later, where we renewed our vows. I wasn't sure how to make the second ceremony unique under the circumstances - I knew I wanted our guests to still feel like they were at a wedding but didn't want to do the same thing all over again, and Diane was such a huge help with making that a reality. She was kind, patient, and thoughtful with her input on the flow and contents of the script. She also was diligent with getting drafts back to us after each conversation/editing session, and I appreciated the research she did to understand our stories and traditions. Ultimately, we decided to have someone else besides her officiate the wedding (something we had been back and forth about since the beginning), which was nothing against her as an orator or person, and she was very understanding. All the time and effort spent working with her was still very worthwhile - she asked us questions that we never would have asked ourselves, which created a different/better outcome than it would have been otherwise, and the vow-renewal ceremony was so special. I would definitely recommend Diane.

We reached out to Diane for our June wedding ceremony because we remembered she'd done an incredible job for my sister Genevieve in 2014. Working with Diane was a joy every step of the way - despite any interruptions from the pandemic this year! We met with Diane well ahead of the event and went over some of the most important stories of our relationship. She helped us craft the perfect wedding ceremony for us, and took great care in all of the best details from our stories. She helped us find inspiration for our vows, and we had gone through all the details of the ceremony well ahead of the date. When COVID caused us to downsize our 125 person wedding to a much smaller gathering of 15 people, Diane didn't miss a beat and helped us adjust the ceremony to fit the smaller crowd. With her help it was still a wonderful celebration despite the restrictions! We can't wait to work with Diane for a bigger event in 2021, and can't recommend her highly enough!

I have known Diane since Summer 2015 when I returned to Denver. She is extradorniarliy talented at creating and delivering the most meaningful and personalized ceremonies. Whether it is telling the story of an entire life in a funeral or memorial or helping a couple celebrate their love in a wedding ceremony, she is hands down the BEST! Diane is truly a gift to the wedding world. She sat with us to listen to our love story and developed the perfect handfasting ceremony for our wedding day. After our initial meeting, Diane checked in and kept us on track throughout the planning process. First of all we knew where we wanted to have our ceremony but nothing about the ceremony itself. We are from Austria (Europe) and wanted to marry in the US (White Pocket, AZ) with a very intimate group (only our parents, the brides brother and two braid maids). Everyone of the small group had to fly around the world to attend our wedding, so we knew it had to be something very special.
But Diane's awesome ceremony made this even *more* special for all of us!!! 💖 She was able to define a special space in this fantastic nature & so created a unique atmosphere with her lyrics- including nature, family members and the whole wedding ceremony. 😍

Diane was a wonderful officiant. From the beginning to the end of the process, she made it so personal, easy, and special for us. She takes her time to interview and get to know you so your personalities really come through in the ceremony. Diane is the best she spent the time and effort to come downtown Denver from Evergreen to meet with us and she answered all of my questions and the grooms questions. It was perfect! She then came back to us with our own personalized ceremony she was so amazing words can not describe how special and happy I felt my groom and eye had tears in our eyes because she wrote out what we told her so wonderfully.
