I hired Diane to help my husband and I prepare for our September 2021 wedding vow renewal. I found her through the Life Celebrant Institute website, but she also happened to be on our venue's preferred vendor list. We initially did a small backyard wedding during COVID lockdown in September 2020 and then did a large reception a year later, where we renewed our vows. I wasn't sure how to make the second ceremony unique under the circumstances - I knew I wanted our guests to still feel like they were at a wedding but didn't want to do the same thing all over again, and Diane was such a huge help with making that a reality. She was kind, patient, and thoughtful with her input on the flow and contents of the script. She also was diligent with getting drafts back to us after each conversation/editing session, and I appreciated the research she did to understand our stories and traditions. Ultimately, we decided to have someone else besides her officiate the wedding (something we had been back and forth about since the beginning), which was nothing against her as an orator or person, and she was very understanding. All the time and effort spent working with her was still very worthwhile - she asked us questions that we never would have asked ourselves, which created a different/better outcome than it would have been otherwise, and the vow-renewal ceremony was so special. I would definitely recommend Diane. -

We reached out to Diane for our June wedding ceremony because we remembered she'd done an incredible job for my sister Genevieve in 2014. Working with Diane was a joy every step of the way - despite any interruptions from the pandemic this year! We met with Diane well ahead of the event and went over some of the most important stories of our relationship. She helped us craft the perfect wedding ceremony for us, and took great care in all of the best details from our stories. She helped us find inspiration for our vows, and we had gone through all the details of the ceremony well ahead of the date. When COVID caused us to downsize our 125 person wedding to a much smaller gathering of 15 people, Diane didn't miss a beat and helped us adjust the ceremony to fit the smaller crowd. With her help it was still a wonderful celebration despite the restrictions! We can't wait to work with Diane for a bigger event in 2021, and can't recommend her highly enough! -

I have known Diane since Summer 2015 when I returned to Denver. She is extradorniarliy talented at creating and delivering the most meaningful and personalized ceremonies. Whether it is telling the story of an entire life in a funeral or memorial or helping a couple celebrate their love in a wedding ceremony, she is hands down the BEST! We have been privileged to have Diane be the Celebrant at both occasions with our families and friends. Diane is a colleague of mine and a Friend. The character traits one associates with a mensch comes to mind when you meet her. She took the time to hear our love story, worked through revisions with us in a professional and caring manner, and delivered a truly remarkable ceremony. She was careful to attend to the technical aspects also with staging and voice amplification so that all in attendance at our outdoor ceremony could see and hear us. Diane is truly a gift to the wedding world. She sat with us to listen to our love story and developed the perfect handfasting ceremony for our wedding day. After our initial meeting, Diane checked in and kept us on track throughout the planning process. Her knowledge, writing skills and passion for her work allowed us to be completely confident in her ability to lead our ceremony. Our family and friends let us know that it was one of the most beautiful celebrations of love they had ever attended.

💕 Most wonderful experience 💕
First of all we knew where we wanted to have our ceremony but nothing about the ceremony itself. We are from Austria (Europe) and wanted to marry in the US (White Pocket, AZ) with a very intimate group (only our parents, the brides brother and two braid maids). Everyone of the small group had to fly around the world to attend our wedding, so we knew it had to be something very special.
But Diane's awesome ceremony made this even *more* special for all of us!!! 💖 She was able to define a special space in this fantastic nature & so created a unique atmosphere with her lyrics- including nature, family members and the whole wedding ceremony. 😍
So all in all Diane supervised us perfectly from the beginning of our wedding preparations (with Skype conversations and emails) till our wedding day!!! 👏🏻😁👍🏻 She is the best officiant one can wish for! 😍 Thank you again dear Diane for creating a wedding day which was better than perfect for us! 💞

Diane is the best she spent the time and effort to come downtown Denver from Evergreen to meet with us and she answered all of my questions and the grooms questions. It was perfect! She then came back to us with our own personalized ceremony she was so amazing words can not describe how special and happy I felt my groom and eye had tears in our eyes because she wrote out what we told her so wonderfully. She is amazing and I highly recommend her! Again thank you Diane! -

Sofia Sent on 10/10/2018Diane was amazing! She has an amazing way with words. She captured our story perfectly! Shelistened to our needs and was accepting of our spiritual preferences. We had a few drafts of the ceremony but didn’t need much guidance; she is a great listener and storyteller. She also recorded our marriage license for us so we didn’t have to go to back to the county. Very helpful and wonderful work!

After talking with us one evening and asking us questions about how we met, what we loved about each other, and important items we wanted in our ceremony, Diane created such a unique ceremony for us that our family and friend can't stop talking about how much it touched them. She is an amazing woman and you can't go wrong selecting here for any of your wedding or other ceremonies you need!

We have been married for ten years and wanted to renew our wedding vows and have a very personal ceremony with just us and our girls. We were both just blown away about how special Dianne made this. She interviewed us before hand and wrote the most beautiful words for our ceremony. She also had some very special ideas we incorporated during our ceremony to make it more intimate. Both my husband and I agree that it was better then our real wedding because of the intimacy Diane helped us have and create a day where it was about just us in love.

From the first phone call and meeting we both knew that Diane was who we wanted to have marry us by the way she carried herself. Diane was very thorough in her communication and very knowledgeable about the service and walked us right through how she would perform our ceremony and then did more than a great job. She was polite, professional, kind, considerate, caring, precise, better than on time, and really took the time to put together a ceremony personal to my wife and I. Both Kirsten and I really liked her and nearly everyone at our reception made sure to let us know how wonderfully she delivered our ceremony. Diane took the time and used a caring nature to really make a day that we will remember for the rest of our lives as good as it could be! We would recommend Diane to anyone looking to be married, she will make sure that your wedding ceremony is special and deliver excellence.

Sarah Sent on 06/19/2017I strongly recommend Diane of Lyrical Life Ceremonies! Diane went above and beyond to create and orchestrate our ceremony. The final product was meaningful, unique, and exactly what we wanted. She met with me beforehand and scheduled calls to review drafts and finalize details. She incorporated the many pieces we asked to include into the ceremony she created, and took care to make the edits we wanted. My husband and I are happy we worked with Diane. We received wonderful feedback from our guests as well. Diane hand-delivered our marriage license to the courthouse and sent us a keepsake copy of the ceremony - a very nice touch! -

We met with Diane almost a full year prior to our wedding date, and she worked diligently throughout the months leading up to our wedding to write and revise a ceremony that turned out absolutely perfect. Diane spent countless hours drafting our ceremony text based on what was important to us and our relationship. She met with us initially to understand what we were looking for, who we were, and let us tell our story - how we met, how we fell in love, how we got engaged. She took our somewhat clumsy words and made them into a compelling, spiritual, story that flawlessly captured our sense of humor. Diane was extremely professional, even knowing where to stand at different parts of the ceremony so that the attention wasn't focused on her (or so that she wasn't in pictures that look better with just the bride and groom!) and coordinating her outfit to match our wedding theme and colors perfectly. I am extremely impressed with her services and I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to tell their story as they take this big step in their relationship. I am honored that Diane put so much effort into understanding who we were and making our big day so special. It was really a joy to work with her.
