Lyle always had a passion for photography while growing up in Washington, Missouri. He began his career as a photojournalist, while attending East Central College, working for the ECC public relations department, Washington Missourian and Warren County Record, as a staff photographer, and The Cornerstone as the photo editor.

He followed his dream by attending the prestigious University of Missouri's School of Journalism. While getting his degree, he was a photographer for the University's Design Center, and a staff photographer for the Columbia Missourian.

Upon getting his Photojournalism degree in May, 2007, Lyle moved to St. Louis working for portrait studios and freelancing for publications, such as The Riverfront Times, photographing Missouri football games for insidestl.com, and SoutheastHEALTH publications in Cape Girardeau.

And since 2009, Lyle Whitworth Photography was formed, providing high-quality images at competitive pricing, with exceptional customer service.

Lyle is a loving husband of 11 years to Becky, and proud father to 2 children, Emma (10), and Noah (5). In his spare time, Lyle enjoys attending Blues and Cardinals games, country music, traveling, and spending time with family.
