Stephanie and her husband did a phenomenal job for our wedding. They captured both the guys and girls getting ready, family and wedding party photos before mass, mass, a parade from the church to the reception, and the reception. We got SO MANY gorgeous photos of incredible quality. I couldn't say enough how much we loved our wedding photos!

Stephanie impressed us from our very first conversation while we were trying to plan our KY wedding from our apartment in NYC. Stephanie was more than generous with her time for calls, emails and a site visit during a February snow storm before our late May wedding. If you are looking for a top-notch photographer in the KY/OH area (or beyond) to immortalize your big day you really should look no further than Lyell Photography. Stephanie can easily cover all the key formal photos, but better yet, she has a unique journalistic style which created so many amazing moments for us, from the beginning of our rehearsal on Friday through the dance party at the reception on Saturday night. My only regret is that we didn't have her shoot our Sunday farewell brunch. What she provided in three full discs of beautifully color edited and black & white forms, far exceeded our expectations. Her laid back but professional demeanor put us at ease throughout the weekend, as she was nearby during many of the most intimate moments a bride & groom will experience. She encouraged us in our own spontaneity and she was seemingly out of sight in all the right ways. We are so taken by the number of beautiful photos to choose from that we have been unable to decide on what will go in our final wedding weekend album. From our first meeting I knew Stephanie Lyell not only was an incredible photographer, but also a wonderful person and passionate about her work. Stephanie was quick responding to all of my emails and questions, she was considerate with all of my hopes and wishes for the day, and she made me feel like I was truly special, which is amazing seeing how many brides she's working with, and the fact she was moving at the time!

She was flexible in allowing me to forgo a traditional engagement shoot, and instead came to our rehearsal dinner, which was less rehearsal and more party time! She got to know my family and my friends, and by the end of the night was part of the Devlin gang!

The day of the wedding Stephanie made sure I was comfortable and she was incredibly patient with the chaos of family portraits, the groom forgetting his suit, and my crazy brothers driving her around in a golf cart. She took time to ask me what was most important in documenting that day and got all of those shots I asked for. And as for the photos, well when you can look at her blog and remember the feeling you had and cry again for the hundreth time, you know your photographer did an amazing job.

I highly recommend Stephanie to any bride looking for not only beautiful photographs, but for her incredible ability to tell a story through her camera, and to capture the memories you want to hold onto forever.
