From our first meeting, we could already tell the amount of passion and care she was going to pour into our day, but she absolutely exceeded our expectations. She was a calming presence on the day of and expertly captured each moment as the day unfolded with a focus on us as a couple and the happiness we were experiencing. She delivered over 100 sneak peaks in just 24 hours which was amazing to be able to share with our friends and family and those who couldn’t attend. We were over the moon getting our full gallery back and cried so many happy tears being able to relive the most special day. Lydia was truly a joy to work with! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, she truly poured all her creative energy into making sure my wife and I had any and all the shots we needed. We loved her pictures so much that we even had one of them recreated via painting! She made everything feel really comfortable and made it easy for the two of us to just be ourselves, and it resulted in really beautiful, natural photos. Bonus points for really getting down to business when it was time for the large amount of family photos after the ceremony. When my husband and I were searching for a photographer I knew I needed to find someone we connected to. Lydia was great from start to finish! When we had our engagement session, I couldnt wait to do our "date night." I wasnt sure what to expect because we werent comfortable infront of cameras. Lydia made this simple by putting us right in our element! We chatted as if we were all friends sharing stories about our lives. This made for a very natural setting and that's exactly how our photos came out!

Now for the wedding! We happened to get married on the ONE day it rained/sleet/and snowed out of the year! In the beginning I was upset we wouldn't be able to get all of the shots I had hoped for. Stressed that my outside wedding, now turned upside down and inside. Lydia put Ed & I at ease the entire day. She put us first and made sure she grabbed us in time to have our first look outside when there was a 5 minute break in the weather. She took romantic shots inside, and made them ours.

When I look at my photos from our day, I picture Ed and I showing our children one day, them showing their children.
