My husband and I were looking for a photographer that made us feel comfortable and provided high quality pictures at a reasonable price. Michelle and Scott definitely exceeded our expectations!

We met a few photographers before choosing Luminaria- we realized we would spend most of our wedding with our photographers so we wanted to choose someone that made us feel comfortable, was fun and professional. No one else came close to forming that personal connection- we couldn't be happier with our choice! They provided direction and definitely fulfilled professional expectations but also laughed with us and made it a lot of fun. They blended in well with the wedding and worked very well with other vendors.

Michelle and Scott were constantly reachable and responsive to requests and questions throughout the whole process. We love our pictures and plan on keeping in touch with Luminaria for future photography needs! Highly recommended!!!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, my husband and I had to plan a wedding in a matter of weeks, not months, or even years. Michelle and Scott at Luminaria were wonderful! They worked with us on a shortened timeframe and even went over a simple list of things we could be forgetting that had nothing to do with the photography. Thank goodness, because I nearly forgot to send the deposit to the DJ!

We wanted some fun, unconventional pictures and they had a ton of ideas. Unfortunately rain, cold, and high winds didn't allow us to use all of the outdoor venues we'd wanted, but I'm thinking of doing some fun family pictures with Luminaria at those venues instead.

I can't recommend them high enough. They were prompt, professional and went above our expectations at every turn.

We live in Minnesota, and we decided to get married in October 2009 in Rochester, where the I am from. We placed an ad on Craigslist, and got over one hundred and fifty responses. From the start, we were incredibly impressed with Luminaria Photography (Michelle and Scott). Michelle took the time to schedule several phone calls since we were long distance, and even scouted good photography spots prior to the big day. Since we weren' t getting our engagement pictures done, she graciously substituted photographing the wedding shower in place of the engagement pics at no extra charge. She and Scott are very personable and fir right in with the crowd!

On the day of the wedding, she and Scott were amazing!! They captured every moment that we wanted, and were very flexible--if we wanted a certain picture, they took it for us. When we got the pictures, we were thrilled!!! They were absolutely gorgeous--Both Michelle and Scott really have an eye for detail and the pictures couldn't have been better. We have gotten so many compliments on them.

When we got the CD of the pictures in the mail, they came in really sturdy and very nice leather cases.

I would recommend Luminaria Photography for anyone who is looking for a terrific photographer. We are so glad we went with Michelle and Scott!!
