Hands down, the best wedding decision we made was hiring Lauren. She is ridiculously talented, a ton of fun to work with, and can take a kernel of your vision and literally make your entire life flash before your eyes.

We chose Lauren because her portfolio shows love stories unfolding between super interesting characters. You really feel like you get to know the people getting married rather than just basic venue drone shots and a flowing veil. Her work includes your wedding day, but tells a much bigger story about your personalities and relationship. We chose to invest in having Lauren with us the day before the wedding as well to capture our family and friends playing at the beach and having happy hour at a brewery. It really helped us get relaxed in front of the camera before the wedding and the footage turned out so awesome!!! Just a different dimension when everyone is goofing around in swimsuits vs tuxedos.

Early on, we talked with Lauren about creating something that would incorporate childhood footage of us and our families. We wanted it to feel like a documentary that would be an heirloom for our kids and grandkids to recognize themselves in one day. She combed through dozens of hours of archival footage and wove it into our story so beautifully! She found the most incredible little frames of detail from our childhoods and connected them to our vows in ways that just made us both feel so seen and captured. Watching it back literally feels like she is inside our memories, and I can feel all these little pieces of myself surfacing during such a special life milestone. Our parents absolutely treasure this too.

Words don’t do her work justice, but you will not regret investing in her art. Every other part of our wedding was kind of a blur - the venue, the food, the flowers, the music, etc. They were all lovely, but video captures everything in a way you can actually keep with you and re-experience forever. Can’t recommend Lovebug Pictures enough!
