Honestly, I don't even know where to begin with this review because this venue is in one word "magical". From the very first time my wife and I stepped foot on the grounds and met Sam, we knew this was the venue for us. Their wedding packages are incredible, affordable, and a great fit for any ceremony. There are no words to describe the enchanting atmosphere from the tree-lined aisle to the view of the stars during the reception. Let's just say there were a lot of oohs and aahs at our wedding. The team at Lost Hill worked with us on creating custom decor and recommended vendors who are outstanding. Make sure you ask about them!

We couldn't have imagined such a perfect place existed that was completely LGBTQ+ friendly and open to our ridiculous theme of rustic with Beauty and the Beast. Without getting too sappy, they made our wedding a fairytale and we are forever grateful.

We had our wedding at Lost Hill Lake in May 2019, and we cannot recommend this venue highly enough. The walnut tree grove ceremony space is absolutely beautiful, and the staff are true experts, highly organized and ready for any eventuality, while maintaining a relaxed attitude that made us feel like we could make the event our own as we planned our wedding, and enjoy the experience of our wedding on the day-of. All of the décor, tables/chairs, and equipment provided by the venue is both high quality and beautiful, and the staff coordinated the logistics with a perfect balance of precision and flexibility.

The venue works closely with Budget Lodging, a family-owned hotel about 10 minutes from the venue, and the hotel vastly exceeded our expectations. The hotel staff were extremely easy and pleasant to work with, and had beautiful, clean, and well-equipped rooms, as well as a stand-alone cottage that is perfect for wedding parties.

My husband and I got married here on September 16, 2017. Everything from the very beginning of the process with Samantha was great! She made everything so easy for us seeing that we are not planners. Anytime I had a question or concern she would answer me right away. The day of the wedding went so smoothly. The venue is absolutely beautiful and I still have guest raving about it. I would highly recommend this venue to everyone. Already have a friend asking me about getting married there!

If I could give Lost Hill Lake Events more than 5 stars, I would!! I am so happy we went with this venue! Sam and her crew were amazing to work with. Everything is exactly how I wanted it to be, even better in fact! I love how they have such diverse decor for you to use, at no extra cost. They set up and break down, you don't have to lift a finger. They truly care about making your day special, not just making money. So many guests said that they weren't sure what to expect when we said we were getting married in the country, this was in the country, but it certainly was not a country setting. They all loved the venue and was so impressed with everything as well. I had many people tell me that they needed to keep this venue in mind for themselves or for their children. I highly recommend Lost Hill Lake Events, you will not be disappointed!

I should mention the venue is stunningly beautiful without decoration. It is a family owned walnut grove that is nestled next to the Meremac River and several fields (perfect photo ops!). They have two pavilions, a dance floor, hidden parking lot, and beautiful landscaping.
We were married on 10/03/15; it was a cold day. LHLE provided three bonfire stations and small throws. Other than the chilly weather, the day was absolutely perfect. LHLE mixed our personal décor with the décor they have on hand to create the perfect rustic/antique look.
The LHLE staff is AMAZING! They are easy to work with and they make sure that you have the day of you dreams. One of the main reason we chose them, other than the gorgeous property, is the fact that they take care of everything. They will decorate, plan a timeline/coordinate your day, have planning sessions, clean-up, and many other things for you.
I HIGHLY recommend Lost Hill Lake Events for any event— weddings, reunions, birthdays.

I can't say enough amazing things about LHL and the crew there. We dreamed of a venue that was "like our backyard" that we could make our own. Sam was incredibly easy to work with and let us bring in a food truck, our own alcohol, and went above and beyond to help our vision become a reality.
By our wedding day the LHL crew was like family. Sam made sure EVERYTHING went off flawlessly and made the whole day easy.
Friends and family are still RAVING about our wedding and how unique and fun it was. I want all my friends and family to get married at LHL so that I can play the lawn games and get cozy by the bonfires all over again.

The Lost Hill Lake team is the dream team for weddings. They made my wedding a spectacular day that was all about us and our marriage. It was the most amazing experience I could've asked for and I wish I could get married again there! They are wonderful people.

We had a lot of specific visions regarding our ceremony and reception and Lost Hill Lake worked hard to ensure it was how we pictured it.

You only get married once so I hope I never have to hire them again! But I would definitely recommend them to anyone, especially if you love unique and "nature-centric" venues.
