Kenya Hudson, the President and Designer of LKG Designs Inc loves all things diamonds, gemstones, and jewelry. She loves designing and creating jewelry, clothes, and home interiors. Give her a box of crayons, some markers, colored pencils, and all types of paper and she is in her zone.

The seed for the love for melee (pointer) diamonds was planted back in 1999 when she and her mother were browsing through the diamond district in NYC one Saturday. She was looking at diamond tennis bracelets and was trying on one that was made with small round brilliant diamonds when her mother stated that that was the size tennis bracelet that she needed since she was petite. It was beautiful but Kenya was not into small diamonds then. Little did she know that that try-on experience would be the seed that would grow into her love for small diamonds of all shapes - round, princess, oval, baguette, trillion, marquise and especially heart shape.

She fell hard for the small heart-shaped diamonds because they symbolize the greatest attribute, feeling, emotion, and thought of all - LOVE.
