Lizette was flexible enough to stay in my neighborhood for the weekend in order to ensure that she began preparations for my wedding on time.
she also travelled far from her home in a blizzard to ensure that she was at my reception on time. She did an amazing job, makeup stayed on beautifully.

Lizette is definitely one of a kind. She has an eye for beauty! She was extremely professional yet warm and kind. While I feel that Lizette did a beautiful job on the makeup for myself and bridal party, it was upsetting to me that she had told me to set aside about 30 minutes per girl for traditional makeup and one hour for airbrush makeup when it ended up taking each girl about 45 minutes to an hour (depending on skin complexion she said) to get ready. I wouldnt have minded this if we set aside this amount of time per girl, but I was assured twice that each girl would take 30 minutes so I made my timeline accordingly. While we were supposed to be fully done by 2pm and begin pictures then, we were not done until about 2 hours later. This was very upsetting to me (although I did not show it during that day) because my fiance and I had a first look scheduled at that time which was just supposed to be between us and no one else... Of course that had to change due to the time, and we rushed through all pictures and our first look was in the lobby of the hotel in front of our entire bridal party and extended family and any other guests who were there early for the ceremony... so it wasnt the intimate first look we planned and I do not like our pictures from it. Our photographer ended up missing shots from our must-take photo list because of timing, but it wasnt his fault.. he did what he could. We ended up being 20 minutes late for our 30 minute ceremony, which cut into cocktail hour, which cut into our reception (which was not allowed to run late). We basically missed out on a good chunk of our reception--our first dance was not until 45 minutes after the reception was supposed to begin to give you an idea... This was upsetting because you plan for so long and invest so much money into this day, and find out you just lose out... Moreover, I was told by one of my bridesmaids that Lizette kept commenting on how bad her skin was and that was why it was taking so long, which obviously made my bridesmaid not feel so good.

While Lizette was truly a perfectionist and did a beautiful job, I sincerely wish she had told me to set aside an hour per girl for us to finish according to our timeline.. and when we were behind time, I wish she would have not taken so much time being a perfectionist and just get the girls made up as fast as possible.
