The day-of paper products provided for my wedding and bridal luncheon were absolutely incredible. The designs and textures were simply amazing. From the elegant place cards to the stunning menus, bar signs, cocktail menus, etc., every detail was meticulously crafted and beautifully presented. We worked with Chris to design an invitation suite and day-of details (including signage, programs, menus, and even custom stickers!) for our March 2023 wedding. Working with Christine was such a pleasure. I hired her to create the welcome sign, menus and table table numbers for my wedding. I am Mexican and I wanted to include some cultural elements. Christine expertly incorporated my vision, with our table numbers being star. She designed our table numbers to a papel picado style, with some custom motifs embedded into the design. These table numbers were probably my favorite detail of the whole wedding.

Christine (Chris) did my wedding welcome sign, seating chart, table numbers, table placecards and custom menus, and words cannot describe how perfect, exact, flawless, thoughtful, and significant these pieces all were to me. When I first started thinking about calligraphy/signage, I thought it was something I would DIY, but as soon as I saw Chris’s previous work, I decided to schedule a consultation to at least see mock-up renderings of her take on my vision. Chris not only understood my vision, but she gave me options and showed me variations for me to choose from (e.g. a little gold leaf, or a lot of gold leaf? Bright red or dark red? Diamond or round shape?) so that everything was exactly as I wanted it. Chris was transparent, professional, communicative, and most importantly a creative artist I knew I could trust with my wedding day.


Additional background: as a Chinese American bride, I knew I could trust Chris to understand how significant red envelops are to me and give it a unique, modern twist. Chris understood the assignment and knocked it out of the park. To our guests who knew, it was a touching connection to my family’s heritage. To our guests who wondered why such a bright red, it was a wonderful talking point to introduce them to new family traditions. I did not know how much these small details would impact me — Chris gave me all the design elements that put the cherry on top of the best day of our lives, so much so that I am preserving her work with my wedding dress, and we cannot wait to display our welcome sign in our home as one of our most cherished keepsakes.
