Melissa from lissa photography was more than we could ask for in a photographer. Her work is magnificent. She is truly the definition of a professional. The pictures from our wedding were beautiful. She definitely has an eye for capturing all the wonderful moments on our special day. She has a great attitude, outgoing personality and is a pleasure to be around. She has an awesome sense of humor and made us feel very comfortable. She was able to control our huge wedding party of 20 people and ensured we got all the shots we wanted. Mel was all over the place and took pictures form every angle and vantage point in our venue. Her prices are great and her work should of cost us 4 to 5 times more than we paid, We received all of our pictures rather quickly after the wedding, She made us the most gorgeous weeding book that we are proud to display and show everyone who comes into our home. There are many choices out there when it comes to photographers, but they are sub par to Melissa. I wish I could give more stars for Flexibility. I live out of state and contacted Melissa to see if she'd be able to capture my friends' engagement. I was working with the groom-to-be and some family and friends were unable to be there so I reached out to her the WEEK OF the engagement. She was able to accommodate the crazy request and even play along before the engagement. (See below for the story!) The family that was there said she was so professional, so caring and really made the day special. A HUGE thank you to her and I almost wish our friends were getting married in Denver because we absolutely would have booked her. Thank you Melissa!

The story:
With surprise family events, the groom-to-be had to propose earlier than expected and most of the bride's family was able to fly up there on a whim. However, we wanted to capture the special surprise engagement for those who couldn't make it. They took their dog on a walk at Washington Park (Denver, CO) and the family hid in a certain area. Melissa pretended to be taking photos of nature and enjoying the day but kept an eye on the couple. There was a specific spot where the engagement was able to take place. HOWEVER, the spot was taken! Everyone was able to adjust, the family was able to stay in hiding, and Melissa captured the whole thing. After, the surprise, she took more photos with the newly engaged couple, the family, and some shots of the couple by themselves. It really was a special time.
