Used them for wedding flowers this past weekend, and they were awesome. My fiance (now husband) and I didn't care about flowers too much, but they were important to my MIL. She picked exactly what she wanted and Janet was able to provide. We also called with additional special corsages for my godmother and MIL and they were perfect. And to top it off, we added another arrangement THE DAY BEFORE the wedding and she didn't even charge us! The flowers were delivered on time and really added that nice touch. Lily's of the Valley did the flowers for my brother's wedding. The bride and groom lived out of state, so meetings with the vendors mostly fell to me and my mom. Working with Janet was an absolute breeze! She was so incredibly patient, and helpful during our consultation. She helped us select the perfect flowers (we were definitely looking for some guidance), and made sure to stay within our budget. On the wedding day, everything arrived on time and looked absolutely gorgeous!

I had a wonderful experience with Lily's of the Valley! Janet did a magnificent job with the floral arrangements for my wedding. The bouquets were exactly what I had envisioned and we got so many complements. The centerpieces came out beautifully. I just sent Janet a few pictures and she was able to modify my bouquets into perfect bouquets and centerpieces! I do not know much about flowers, but Janet was somehow able to figure out exactly what I wanted. She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with! She suggested flowers for me and when I mentioned different flowers she would tell me if they were in season or costly immediately. She was truly wonderful to work with. All of the flowers, both the bouquets and the centerpieces lasted for days after our wedding! Everything was organized and labeled and delivered promptly. I got married at the Thayer and she knew everything about the venue. I would happily use her again in the future, or recommend her to a friend. My florist fell through 3 weeks (yes THREE WEEKS) before game day. I started reaching out to other florists in a panic for quotes and information. Janet was SO helpful, SO attentive and SO FLEXIBLE being willing to work with us last minute. She created everything we wanted and our centerpieces were complimented nonstop from our guests. Janet and the staff at Lily's of The Valley truly out did themselves. I was having trouble finding a florist to call me back but had a friend recommend Janet and her team and I am not sorry that I decided to go with them. The flowers were incredible and the prices are very affordable. I felt like Janet knew exactly what I wanted and what I didn't want with hardly any instructions. My favorite thing was that I didn't mention my favorite flowers (Queen Anne's Lace) as I thought they were out of season but when I saw my centerpieces they had Queen Anne's Lace in them.

I will always be grateful to Janet and her staff for creating breathtaking floral masterpieces that made me smile at every turn on my wedding day! I got married at the Catholic chapel at West Point Military Academy on April 30th, 2016. I made an appointment to meet with Janet last summer and from the moment I walked into her shop and met the no-nonsense owner, I knew that she and I would work together perfectly. It was difficult for me to put my wedding ideas into words but after talking to Janet for a couple minutes, she had perfectly captured my romantic and traditional tastes in bouquets of beautiful garden rose and sweet pea. She even helped me choose more affordable but still beautiful alternatives to some flower choices I had seen in wedding books. I was even more excited to get married just to see what she would create for me! Her staff promptly delivered all of the weddings party's flowers to the bed & breakfast where I was staying on the morning of the wedding. Everything was carefully packed and labeled and my bridesmaids and I could not stop staring at our gorgeous bouquets. Lily's of the Valley also took care of the reception flowers, which added simple elegance to the room without being over the top. Janet was a pleasure to work with and I can't wait to receive my wedding pictures so that I can admire her handiwork again!

Lily's work is stunning. First, she gets credit for taking my handful of pictures, vague descriptions of color and mood, and utter lack of knowledge of flowers and creating work that was not only beautiful, but exactly what I wanted. Her work is really beautiful and if you're considering Bear Mountain Inn, she knows the venue, which is very helpful. She never tried to up-sell us and her prices are very reasonable - and even more so once you realize the quality of what you're getting. A picture of my bridal bouquet has been the background on my phone since my wedding in October, despite my guilt-pangs that it "should" be my husband. Thank you, Janet!
