David did the lighting for our tented wedding reception a few weeks ago, which included bistro string lights swagged across the tent poles and around the perimeter; various spotlights throughout our yard; and a light tower to illuminate our parking area.

David is one of the most honest business owners I’ve encountered. Our wedding was originally set for October 2020, but we pushed it out to October 2022. When we first asked David about pushing out, he very honestly shared his concerns that his business (like so many in the event industry) might not weather COVID and he so kindly gave us our entire deposit back.

Fast forwarding more than a year, I was struggling to find a lighting vendor I liked half as much as David. While other vendors made the lighting so complicated (uplights, specialty chandeliers, ah!) David listened to what we wanted and didn’t try to sell us on additional lighting. Additionally, David’s lighting services were much more reasonably priced than other vendors. With these realizations, we got back in touch with David and were so thankful he was willing to “take us back”. And of course, on our actual wedding day the lighting was perfect!

David did the bistro lighting and disco ball at our tent wedding on the beach in Cape Cod. He was so wonderful and easy to work with and we were so thrilled with the lighting. Incredibly flexible and also offered to talk to the other vendors to get issues sorted out. A great vendor to work with!

Lightworks did a great job with our wedding at the New Bedford Whaling Museum! They were familiar with the venue and made some excellent recommendations for lighting our reception room, and it turned out beautifully!

Dave (the owner) and Lauren are very creative, and were wonderful to work with. They totally understand how to create the atmosphere you're looking for. Even better, they're reasonably priced. Highly recommend them.

We never got to meet the professionals from Lightworks, as they were in and out of our venue before we even arrived on site. That dais, they were very easy to work with in terms of booking and did an amazing job with the lighting for our wedding. We had a somewhat rustic venue, and the white christmas-style lights that they strung up, along with small round hanging lanterns, really dressed things up and looked amazing. We had a lot of compliments on how nice the lighting looked and how much of a difference it made in terms of the overall feel of the reception. I would definitely recommend Lightworks without hesitation.
