Lichterman Nature Center, based out of Memphis, Tennessee, is a wedding event venue that features lush gardens, native wildflowers, scenic lake views, beautiful bridges, and a gorgeous gazebo nestled in the heart of nature. With all of these gorgeous features, this venue can serve as the perfect event backdrop for your wedding. Facilities and Capacity
Located on 65 acres of lush woodland space, Lichterman Nature Center offers a variety of possibilities for your event, whether you are looking for an indoor space or an outdoor space. The venue also has convenient, ample parking and is located a few miles from both the Poplar Avenue/I 240 Poplar Avenue and the Ridgeway/Nonconnah Parkway exits. The event spaces include The William A. Loewenberg Visitor Center, which offers access to one of the five outdoor pavilions. The Visitor Center is equipped with an excellent catering kitchen with prep tables, warmers, coolers, an ice machine, and a three-compartment sink. This building also features additional spaces, including a 1,500-square-foot Learning Center with decks overlooking the nearby lake and a retractable wall that can separate this room into two smaller rooms. Couples can also utilize the 2,600-square-foot Orientation Area with 20-foot glass windows, a massive stone fireplace, and observation decks overlooking the lake. Lastly, take advantage of the 1,600-square-foot Classroom with a retractable wall that can separate this room into two smaller rooms and offers direct access at ground level to the boardwalk over the lake. Lichterman’s Davidson Special Events Pavilion is also available for couples who prefer an open-air facility. This outdoor pavilion offers 2,160 square feet of flexible event space, a stone fireplace, a serving kitchen, restrooms, and 18 picnic tables. The Nature Center is also available and features seats for up to 125 people; this space has spotlights, stage lights, and a raised stage in case you are looking to bring in live entertainment.

Services Offered
Lichterman Nature Center offers event services to bridal showers, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, and wedding ceremonies and receptions. Event services include a bridal suite, a list of outside vendors, complimentary wireless Internet, quality event rentals, setup, and cleanup. The venue also offers chairs and tables for you and your guests, and there is convenient parking as well as wheelchair access.
