We lived out of State and hiring My Wedding Planner was one of the first things we did in the wedding planning process and probably one of the best decisions we made. We live out of state while my wife and her family are from Kentucky so we wanted to have our wedding there. Being out of state we knew having a coordinator would be extra helpful. Finding Kaelyn and the My Wedding Planner team was a lifesaver! We sought Kaelyn's help initially for feasibility, and that experience went so well we knew we wanted to work with her for full coordinating services. About halfway through our planning, my wife's mother was diagnosed with cancer that changed our lives and of course our wedding plans. Kaelyn didn't blink an eye, and went above and beyond to help advise us during an incredibly difficult time and pivoted plans brilliantly. Kaelyn was so supportive during all this, I don't know how we would have gotten through the planning during this incredibly emotional time. Kaelyn and her team helped us achieve a wedding that was perfectly us, with unique requests and tastes. We are so, so grateful to have found Kaelyn and her team. When we said goodbye at the end of our reception, the first thought we had was that we were going to miss our check-ins with Kaelyn because we just enjoyed her so much.

The staff with Lex Event co/My Wedding Planner was the best wedding planning decision we made. They had answers to all the questions I had throughout the planning process. The day off was remarkably stress free! Everything was done to perfection, and they even made sure we ate. Our main POC, Kaelyn, was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Kaelyn was suggested to me by a friend who used her. After speaking with two other potential planners, we felt Kaelyn had the experience, savvy and reliability that we needed. We worked with My Wedding Planner for well over a year during our engagement, and Kaelyn was always available to assist. She kindly listened to all my TikTok-generated ideas, many of which we implemented. She kept our planning timeline on track, visited venues with us, discussed pros and cons and provided options if we didn’t like what was available. Kaelyn is incredibly well connected in the community and never came up short when we needed suggestions. She helped with rehearsal dinner, floral, makeup, hair, video, our hotel block and more!

There truly isn’t enough space to cover all the ways Kaelyn made our wedding wonderful. We used her full service planning, so she presented vendor options, we looked them over and discussed with her, and she did all the arranging of contracts and provided payment reminders. The week of the wedding she picked up decor, retrieved and returned glassware we rented, provided emotional support, talked me off ledges, fixed fallen hair, repaired broken suspenders, adjusted our timeline when it got significantly off course, decorated, directed, handed out vendor tips, managed to keep my husband on task and I’m sure there are tons more things she did that I didn’t even notice! After the wedding she mailed in our marriage license so we had one less thing to worry about. If you want to enjoy your wedding day, you need My Wedding Planner!

When we were first beginning wedding planning and discussing our budget, I thought: Gosh, Kaelyn’s help is a chunk of our budget, I hope it’s worth it. As time went on and the wedding grew closer and finally happened, I thought: We did not pay this woman nearly enough. She is worth her weight in gold.

We loved working with Kaelyn and the My Wedding Planner team! We planned our wedding living out-of-state. Kaelyn made the planning process (and especially the day-of) as stress-free as possible. She’s great with communication and easy to work with. She is also so well-connected in the area and did an amazing job of bringing our vision to life!

We had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Lexington Event Company. They were thorough (every single detail), kind, helpful and made the process of planning a wedding (during a global pandemic, no less) so much easier than had we taken the task on ourselves. At the last minute we were forced to make adjustments in order to be able to proceed with our day and Kaelyn and her team did it swiftly and without stress to anyone in our party. I cannot express enough how grateful I am to their contribution to what could have been a cancelled event all together - and made it my favorite night of my life where I got to marry my best friend!

Where to even start?! I never thought I would need a wedding planner. I am an organized person and had many friends who had gotten married who could help me… but I was WRONG!! If you are looking for wedding planner look no further! From the first time we met Kaelyn we knew we had to have her. She knew the venue so well and how to set the day up to make it flow best. She read all contract and caught items that I would have missed, met with us many times as we needed, and we have a blast planning with her! THEN Covid hit and I was even MORE happy to have her. Whether if it was her having a hard conversation with the venue or just keeping me sane, she was always there for us!! Come wedding day her and her team where on it. We were on schedule for the entire day, they set décor up and handled all the venues for us! We had guest asking who she was after because they noticed her professionalism and work ethic, they made the wedding flow perfectly!
