The Lehigh Valley Zoological Society, a nonprofit organization, is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), the international organization that sets the highest standards for zoos and aquariums. The revenue generated through rentals, catering and event enhancements helps support the daily cost to feed and care for the Zoo’s animal ambassadors, a cost of $2,500 each day.
