Their Legacy Gardens borders the lake, and features a stage, a 40’ x 60’ paved seating area, gazebos, a bar, and a dock, and makes for a beautiful setting for ceremonies. Afterwards, receptions can be hosted in The Boathouse, which can seat up to 160 guests theatre-style, or 140 at round tables. There are spaces for both sides of the wedding party to get ready. Lighted parking lots are available, and the facility is wheelchair accessible. Legacy of the Lakes Museum is quiet and private, but centrally located for guests' convenience.

They provide all clients with an on-site coordinator/host, so that couples and their loved ones can enjoy the day. Every wedding event you may have in mind can be held at the facility, including ceremonies, receptions, and elopements, plus rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and engagement parties. Outside vendors are welcome, and there is no food and beverage minimum. Legacy of the Lakes Museum can provide couples with chairs, linens, and tables. Caterers can make use of the staging area as well. There is WiFi available throughout the property so you can share your experience with far-flung loved ones.

We did most of the work when it came to the wedding. The grounds were beautiful and well cared for. I heard from people in the wedding party and guests that they felt the host at the museum was rude to them. Overall a very good experience.Sent on 11/27/2018
