Leah made things fun and very easy going all around great service.

There is no question that Leah is one of the better professional photographers in the Delaware area! My bride stressed very early on that the photographer was very important to her and that we needed to get it right. Well, we hit a home run with Leah. We came to her with a lot of our own ideas and she was thrilled to have them incorporated! She was beyond professional and loads of fun to be around. She's all around friendly, responsive and has more vision than most photographers I've worked with. Even when we were running short on time for photos after the ceremony, she never faltered and always kept her cool. The moment we had our first meeting with Leah, we knew we had found the right photographer for us. She took our engagement photos as well and even when we were being goofy and silly and probably wasting her time, she captured the essence of our relationship in a number of beautiful shots. I know our wedding photos are going to be amazing due to our amazing photographer!

Michael and I couldn't be happier with our choice to hire Leah as our wedding photographer. As a bride, the photographer was one of the most important vendors to me, and Leah definitely delivered beyond my expectations. Our wedding package consisted of an engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner coverage & all day wedding coverage with Leah & a second shooter. The engagement session was great because we were able to become comfortable with Leah and see her shooting style before our big day.
Her presence at the rehearsal & rehearsal dinner was key for a smooth wedding day. After the rehearsal, we felt very comfortable that she was familiar with the ceremony program, met our family & friends and saw the space where she would be shooting. This also allowed for us to discuss any last minute ideas or potential issues, which eased my stress as a bride. Not many photographers offer this service.
For the wedding, she helped us to create a schedule for the day (which was so helpful!) and discussed our ideas for certain shots before hand. During the ceremony at our church, she respectfully took pictures and was not overbearing . She captured every detail beautifully, whether inside without the flash or on the beach in full sunlight. She got so many different expressions and emotions in our photos. The editing of our images is impeccable- she is truly a professional. Some of them look like they came straight out of a bridal magazine.
Leah is so much more than just a wedding photographer. She was instrumental in keeping us on time throughout the day and while we were getting ready, she was giving advice and even offered to help bustle my dress. Multiple wedding guests remarked how pleasant and helpful she was. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and I would recommend her to anyone who is looking for a polite, professional & immensely talented photographer.

Working with Leah was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Leah was so pleasant and enjoyable to work with. She had great advice with regards to scheduling and really helped us make great decisions with our photography. (Highly recommend doing a first look!) Since we planned from out of state, we did not meet until the day of the rehearsal, but by the end of the wedding it felt like we were old friends. Both Leah and Austin were completely professional, fun to be around, and the pictures came out spectacularly. Leah's photojournalistic style is exactly what we were looking for and there are so many great photos we can hardly decide which ones to print. Everyone who has seen our pictures has commented on how great they are.

Leah is truly great at what she does. She felt like she was part of our guests. We now consider her a friend :) very professional and responds extremely quick.

I absolutely give Photography by Leah 5 stars. I would give more if I could. When first meeting Leah, I felt an instant connection. She sat with me for about an hour and we looked at samples and discussed my wedding. The packages she offers are more than reasonable. You get SO much in any one package. Your dollar really goes far. She told me I would get around 300-400 pictures. I got over 500. She also gives you rights to your pictures, which helps with cost (so you don't have to pay for the photography, then also $$/picture to have them in your possession! She and her second shooter, Austin stayed for the ENTIRE WEDDING (she came around 11am to take pictures of us getting ready, Austin went with the guys), Basically over a 10hr day for them. They got pictures of everything, including last minute requests from my family. She graciously obliged to anything we wanted. I honestly am SO happy with my pictures, I am being told by everything that Leah does amazing work, and that they are so intrigued by how unique her style is. The company is just her, Photography by Leah, ran solely by Leah - so you aren't getting a stock "pose like this" picture. You really do get unique -- and it only took 6 weeks to get my amazing pictures back. I've already told Leah that we would be contacting her in the future for maternity and baby/family shoots when the time comes. We found our forever photographer for sure! I would and DO recommend Leah to everyone!

My husband and I got married on August 31, 2013 and we were so lucky stumble upon Leah through a mutual friend of ours at their wedding two years ago. I remember seeing the photos she took of their wedding and loved them! Finding a great photographer if you do not know one is hard to do, but we were extremely so lucky we didn't have to search far. We live in Northern VA and even though she lives in Delaware she kindly traveled to us to shoot our special day. She captured every precious moment, ones you can't get back. We just got our photos, all 400 and some and all of them are absolutely divine. The photos came in a hard-bound display book with an easily accessible thumb drive which contains both high resolution large print files and Facebook ready files. She offers several packages that can be customizable to fit your budget. Looking at them all, took us back to that day, made us remember what a special day it was and all the emotions of how happy we felt. We are so lucky we found her. Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and it goes by so fast, so much is going on all at once that some parts seems like a blur. People don't realize it until after its all said and done that those pictures are what you have left. She did such an AMAZING job of getting every aspect of the wedding. There were some shots I didn't even know she took and I was thrilled to see. Her focus and attention to detail is unlike anything I've ever seen. She knows the perfect backdrops and placement of important pieces that nothing will be missed. She is by far the best photographer around and if you are looking for your dream day to be captured so that it takes you back for memories to cherish a lifetime she is the one! I can't be more happier and we will use her for all of our photography needs in the future. She is perfection! Robin Smith

She was able to book us at such a short period of time, and my Husband & I LOVED working with her & Austin! She made the day memorable and was such a joy to work with!
