Every step of the process with Lavender + Sage was easy and wonderful! Booking was simple, and we received our contract quickly. Laura met with me two weeks before the wedding to go over details, and she was so flexible with the last minute difficulties and changes we needed to make. She even came to our rehearsal and helped to make sure everyone knew what to do.

On the day of, she and her husband made everyone feel comfortable while also being structured enough to make sure we stuck to the timeline and got through our shot list. During the pre-ceremony groomsmen photo shoot, the guys stopped for street tacos, and we ended up with some really fun candids! They were willing to go the extra mile to make sure we didn’t just have really posed looking photos. They also set up a gorgeous flat lay of all our details to get beautiful shots of our invitations, rings, flowers, and my shoes.

During the dancing, Laura noticed I was recording videos for some of my favorite songs and dances; she offered to do that for me with my phone while also taking the professional photos to make sure I had the chance to just enjoy the dancing.

After the wedding, Laura sent me a sneak peak with some gorgeous photos of key moments (first kiss!) within a few days. That made it a lot easier to wait for the full gallery. Then, we got the full gallery only 3 weeks after the wedding, even though Thanksgiving was during that time. The photos are so beautiful, and they captured great pictures of every part of the wedding. We’ve received so many compliments on the pictures from all of our guests, and the website she uses makes it really easy to download all the photos in big batches.

I’ve honestly changed my phone and computer backgrounds like 30 times in the last month because I just can’t pick which ones are my favorites!

Overall, I am so so happy with the decision to go with Lavender + Sage, and I would hire them again in a heartbeat if I ever need more photography services!

Working with Laura was the best! She was there from step one and was in constant contact from the beginning which made me feel really secure about this. I booked Lavender+Sage for my upcoming 2022 wedding and I just received my engagement photos. OMG they are gorgeous!!
