When planning our wedding, photography was a huge thing to me. As soon as I met Laurel, I knew she was the photographer for us. She is very organized and responsive. She worked within our budget and totally exceeded our expectations in all ways. I was blown away with our engagement photos and I saw a few sneaks of our wedding photos already and I cannot wait to see the rest. My husband and I loved working with Laurel! She was a lot of fun to work with, very creative, is very professional, and her prices were very reasonable (and some of the best we found in the area). We have gotten so many complements on our pictures and we still can't decide which one's we love the best. Another thing we found really wonderful and amazing was we hardly noticed she was running around taking pictures at the ceremony and reception. Laurel was fantastic! She was the first person there to my hair appointment in the morning and she stayed all until the night was nearly over! Laurel is a Keeper. She has an artistic eye that I have admired for years, and she also has the technical skills - from capture to creation - to insure the quality of product you receive. I never tire of seeing her work; she consistently brings fresh visual perspective to her subjects, whether they be couples in love or kittens at play. Her images draw you in to life moments. She is an original; you will be extremely satisfied working with her.

She was able to fit me in on short notice. With a more photo-journalistic style, the pictures captured the special moments especially well. She also did a great job with posed formal shots and organizing large groups. Not only were the pictures fabulous, but she was super accommodating with changing the location of the pictures the day before and resending the pictures to me after my computer crashed! I was super pleased with how everything turned out. Laurel was exactly what we were looking for.

Laurel was amazing to work with and is quite possibly the best deal you can get for a wedding photographer in Iowa. She produces quality work at an affordable price. I had my original venue close a mere month before my wedding. I was able to move my wedding ,and Laurel was flexible and understanding. She is super chill, has a great sense of humor, and is able to get all the shots a bride would want on her wedding day.
