    When planning our wedding, photography was a huge thing to me. As soon as I met Laurel, I knew she was the photographer for us. She is very organized and responsive. She worked within our budget and totally exceeded our expectations in all ways. I was blown away with our engagement photos and I saw a few sneaks of our wedding photos already and I cannot wait to see the rest. If you like photos that pop and a unique perspective as well as attention to detail, you're going to want to hire Laurel. She is worth every penny. I have nothing but great things to say about our experience with Laurel.

    Laurel did an amazing job with both our engagement and wedding pictures. She is truly talented and anyone would be pleased with her work. I had full day wedding coverage and wouldn't select anything else!

    My husband and I loved working with Laurel! She was a lot of fun to work with, very creative, is very professional, and her prices were very reasonable (and some of the best we found in the area). We have gotten so many complements on our pictures and we still can't decide which one's we love the best. Another thing we found really wonderful and amazing was we hardly noticed she was running around taking pictures at the ceremony and reception. To anyone looking for a photographer I would HIGHLY recommend Laurel you will not regret it!

    Laurel rocked our wedding! She was so comfortable to work with, professional, likable, and very very good at what she does! Our same sex wedding was small, private and captured beautifully thanks to Laurel's keen

    Laurel was fantastic! She was the first person there to my hair appointment in the morning and she stayed all until the night was nearly over! Our pictures turned out beautiful and they are more than we could have imagined! Laurel was so easy to work with and had great ideas on what to photograph! I am so glad we chose Laurel to capture our wedding day because now we have beautiful pictures to match with the beautiful memories we made.

    Tyler and I recently got married and Laurel captured every single moment that meant the most!!! I can't give her enough compliments on her work and her flexibility with us on whatever we wanted done. We are animal lovers and she dealt not only with our dogs but with my horse for pictures. From the first to last picture I have looked at and shown people I have had nothing but great feed back! I couldn't have asked for anything better. She is organized and on top of everything. I was amazed on how fast I got all my pictures back. I would highly suggest to Laurel to everyone!!

    Laurel was by far my favorite vendor from our wedding. She was both professional and personable from day one and the resulting photos she provided us will be treasured for many years to come. Laurel stayed the entire day of our wedding providing us with sweet getting ready shots and funny late night reception shots.

    As someone who does portrait work (mostly for friends and family), a great photographer was very important to me. Laurel exceeded my expectations in so many ways. Her photo style and editing is very natural and without some of the cheesiness I saw in other photographers.

    As a same sex couple, feeling comfortable with showing affection in front of the camera was important to us and Laurel was wonderful. She had no awkwardness about the more tender moments and was able to capture some very special shots.

    I would highly, highly recommend Laurel and look forward to working with her in the future.

    She was able to fit me in on short notice. With a more photo-journalistic style, the pictures captured the special moments especially well. She also did a great job with posed formal shots and organizing large groups. Not only were the pictures fabulous, but she was super accommodating with changing the location of the pictures the day before and resending the pictures to me after my computer crashed! I was super pleased with how everything turned out. Laurel was exactly what we were looking for.

    Laurel is a Keeper. She has an artistic eye that I have admired for years, and she also has the technical skills - from capture to creation - to insure the quality of product you receive. I never tire of seeing her work; she consistently brings fresh visual perspective to her subjects, whether they be couples in love or kittens at play. Her images draw you in to life moments. She is an original; you will be extremely satisfied working with her.

    Laurel was amazing to work with and is quite possibly the best deal you can get for a wedding photographer in Iowa. She produces quality work at an affordable price. I had my original venue close a mere month before my wedding. I was able to move my wedding ,and Laurel was flexible and understanding. She is super chill, has a great sense of humor, and is able to get all the shots a bride would want on her wedding day. She also is able to get the shots you want without getting in the way of moments or faking journalistic moments. A true journalistic photographer. Love her!

    Laurel photographed our wedding in a planetarium, and rose to that challenge beautifully. She was very relaxed, went with the flow of the day, had a great sense of humor, and produced some truly wonderful pictures of our special day. She has a rare gift of capturing the essence of a person's spirit in their eyes and their expression. She even made me look good, and I am definitely not the most photogenic person around. We were very pleased with her services and the photos.

    Laurel did a great job with our wedding photography and was very responsive leading up to the wedding. We really appreciated her easy-going style and she captured some wonderful moments. The entire process was very smooth and we really enjoyed working with Laurel.

    I was referred to Laurel by a friend of mine who does photography that was already booked for my wedding date. I was incredibly impressed by Laurel's professionalism and astonishing willingness to accommodate our every need. Laurel provides wedding photography prices that are unheard of with so many services including full day coverage provided for one low price. For our engagement session she knew just where to go and was excellent at making us feel comfortable and we had so much fun doing it! She estimated a time frame for the photos to be ready and she was right on time just like it should be! I would recommend her a million times over to anyone looking for a photographer who really has a passion for what they do and will capture all those special moments you will cherish for years to come.

    Laurel was fantastic! She got a ton of great shots and all of the special shots that we wanted to capture. We learned about Laurel through some friends who used her services for their wedding day so we decided to follow in their shoes...excellent choice! We opted for all day coverage for our wedding at a price that couldn't be beat. Best choice for a photographer by far!

    We liked Laurel's photos from our wedding so much that we hired her to take pregnancy photos for us! She is excellent at getting detail shots, so if documenting the details of your wedding day is important to you, Laurel is a good choice for a photographer. Her fee is extremely reasonable and we got our proofs within a month after our wedding. I would highly recommend Laurel if you want high quality photos on a budget.
