Breaks Her Own Contract
When trying to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19; Laura said there was a rescheduling fee when our contract states there is not. When asked prior that month she said that

“Yes I am totally okay with postponing due to COVID.
As long as I am available, there is no additional fees due!” When I pointed it out she then stated in the same day that the day I was moving to was booked. She then gave me the ultimatum of keeping the original date and pay her in full or cancel our contract and she keeps the deposit. She made no attempt to figure out another day or retract the rescheduling fee that broke our contract. She kept changing her reasoning for her actions and avoided obvious deceits. I ended my professional relationship with her as I do not feel like I can fully trust and depend on her. I would look for someone else that is more professional and honest.
She responded very quickly, which made her story that the day was booked in the middle of our conversation even more unbelievable. The value seemed good, and I had seen her work at Union Station which is where I am getting married. But no matter what. None of this was worth it. I’m extremely disappointed in her professionalism. If the only way for her to keep the contract would be me getting a lawyer, what’s the point of having a contract?
