Lan and her team are so good at executing beautiful hair and makeup styles, especially on Asian women, and they work like a well-oiled machine! Despite being her 2nd wedding of the day, they arrived on-time, energized, and ready to roll, making me and my girls feel so beautiful and pampered all morning. Of note, she also made sure to start off with skin care to help promote that glow from within. The make-up did not move or smudge despite continuous crying throughout the day, and my hair stayed styled and bouncy well into the night. I could not have asked for a better experience.

On February 17, 2024, Lan and her team provided makeup and hair services for my wedding, attending to a group of ten people, including the bridal party and family members. Her work was truly exceptional, deserving of the highest praise.

I love this woman . She is amazing at what she does . She came in on time , and honored all the girls request and made them look even better than the reference picture . Everyone felt lovely that day , especially me. I asked for Hollywood waves and she delivered it with ease ! She even came back later to touch me up for the reception because I got confetti stuck in my hair . She made my body glow and added pearls to my hair. From outfit changes to the dance floor, not a single hair was out of place . She was the first vendor I knew I had to book . You will not regret booking with Lan.

I truly debated whether I should leave an honest review and I decided to because I don't want this to happen to other brides. I booked and placed a deposit with Lan 10 months prior to my wedding. I overlooked many red flags. I was warned since I did not receive a formal contract. I submitted a google form (basic questionnaire) and do not receive a copy. I venmo'ed my deposit and confirmed with Lan via phone that the deposit was received. I explained that I can meet the minimum of 4 services and will likely have more (8 bridesmaids) because at that time, I haven't formally asked my bridal party. She advised to let her know when I am made aware as she may need to book another artist. I proactively followed up with her to provide counts of services. Ultimately I provided total services almost 4 months before the wedding. At this time, she asked me to submit a new google form with increased fees and informed me, I would have to pay the new/increased fees despite booking and providing a deposit in Oct 2023. When I respectfully inquired on whether the previous price we agreed on can be honored, she immediately informed me that we are not a fit and canceled my wedding. Then she followed up saying she did not cancel because I provided a "blank contract" for which reason I cannot understand. I provided my information and informed her that I can meet the minimum services, likely more. If I provided a "blank contract", why did she not mention this problem the many encounters/communications we've had. She likely double booked my wedding and tried to charge higher prices. This is extremely unprofessional and unreliable.

2) At my trial, she asked me to provide an inspo pic and stated she will do make up exactly like the pic when I asked her to cater to my features as an artist, she said she can't do that. The make up also did not appear like my inspo pic.

3) I provided slight feedback after my engagement shoot, primarily how my eyes appeared in photos and she was upset.

I know she will deny but I can promise you this happened to me and I hope this will not happen to any other bride. Ultimately everything happens for a reason and I am very happy with the new artist I booked.
