Cuisine
All cuisine is prepared on-site by the Executive Chef, David Augenti, and his team. David specializes in creating custom menus with premium beverages and gourmet dishes. The fine cuisine can be served in various ways including, hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hours, plated dinners, food displays, and more. History
Before the clubhouse was erected, the land was named Valhalla by the First Nations. In the ancient Norsemen language, the name translates to the “dwelling place of the Gods.” Later in the 1930s, the stunning house was built on the divine land with the supervision of the head architect, Mr. Francis G. Hasselman. To preserve the prestige of the community, no building was permitted to cost less than 5,000 dollars, a dear sum for its time. No expense was spared while developing the Lake Valhalla Club, and once it opened its doors it entertainment the likes of many families. The house provided a hub for guests to enjoy outdoor activities such as, tennis, fishing, boating, skating, and socializing with likeminded people.
