Facilities and Capacity
Lake Valhalla Club offers both indoor and outdoor event space for wedding celebrations. During the warm months, ceremonies and cocktail hours can be held outside. Couples can choose from a variety of outdoor locations found across the grounds, including areas with waterfront views. The outdoor spaces also feature sandy beaches, canopy treelines, and shimmering fountains. Inside the clubhouse, a ballroom boasting vaulted wood ceilings and two stone fireplaces can be found. The opulent room can host up to 225 guests for grand wedding celebrations. Located within the ballroom is a balcony with a wood banister and a birdseye view of the reception hall. The upper area reveals fantastic views of the 90-acre lake and majestic mountains.
The year-round facility focuses on hosting only one event per day. The team strives to provide memorable experiences with attentive service all throughout the process. They are happy to create unforgettable memories and have equipment available such as rowboats and paddleboats for creative photo sessions. In addition, the venue also offers access to their linens, flatware, chairs, tables, and more.
All cuisine is prepared on-site by the Executive Chef, David Augenti, and his team. David specializes in creating custom menus with premium beverages and gourmet dishes. The fine cuisine can be served in various ways including, hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hours, plated dinners, food displays, and more. Couples can also choose between an open bar or a cash bar with fine wines, beers, and liquors.
Before the clubhouse was erected, the land was named Valhalla by the First Nations. In the ancient Norsemen language, the name translates to the “dwelling place of the Gods.” Later in the 1930s, the stunning house was built on the divine land with the supervision of the head architect, Mr. Francis G. Hasselman. To preserve the prestige of the community, no building was permitted to cost less than 5,000 dollars, a dear sum for its time. No expense was spared while developing the Lake Valhalla Club, and once it opened its doors it entertainment the likes of many families. The house provided a hub for guests to enjoy outdoor activities such as, tennis, fishing, boating, skating, and socializing with likeminded people.
