I originally went with A Floral Affair in Woodbridge, VA for my wedding flowers, but about a month before my wedding they closed their store. One of the floral designers there, Barbara, went to Lake Ridge Florist and took my file with her to complete it there. Lake Ridge Florist agreed to keep the prices on my original contract the same and they were very flexible. Barbara was wonderful and put me at ease about everything. She assured me that I would receive everything I originally wanted and that it would all be beautiful and perfect. She was 100% correct- when I saw the flowers for the first time upon arriving at our venue they literally took my breath away. Since, I did not know much about flowers, I trusted the florists to take my vision and make it come to life and that's exactly what Barbara did. The bouquets were especially amazing- shades of red, yellow, and orange and very well done. I couldn't get over how beautiful they were. Barbara did a wonderful job at turning a stressful situation into one that I didn't have to worry about!

Our flowers were GREAT! We decided we didn't want a huge center piece and they were able to provide that. The little touches - like "diamond" pieces in the center of the daisy was such a great touch. They are so knowledgeable about all of the types of flowers too. AMAZING JOB!!!

Lake Ridge Florist was wonderful. We walked in wanting special centerpieces for our moms' tables. They were very felxible and had wonderful ideas to fit our budget. We highly recommend them.

Beautiful flowers, reasonable prices.

OK, I should have shopped around. My flowers were awful, they didn't last from the shop to my ceremony site (about 20 miles away). The "designer" at first would not or could not offer any advise or consultation, then when I wanted to change something she was unavailable. When I was able to reach her, she seemed bothered that I was calling or had come by (I only went by when I wasn;t getting a response over the phone). The price was not reasonable and I was told there was nothing I could do to lower the price, including my atempt to remove flowers from the bridesmaids bouquets. Then they overcharged me and and din't keep good records of my payments. It took three weeks to get everything straightened out.

I was considering Lake Ride Florists for my wedding flowers but after trying to meet three different times, I decided to go somewhere else.
I had 3 appointments there, three different times; I got stood the first time, was asked to reschedule the 2nd time because she wanted to leave work early, and then got stood up again because she was at a wedding show. The last appointment was one she had personally made me with me! Awful service! Don't waste your money or your time!
