My husband and I eloped within a two week time frame (I was changing jobs and had to leave for training). Luckily Kyla had an opening the weekend we needed and she went above and beyond to help style us and create the perfect plan that matched our vision in such a short amount of time. Kyla is incredibly talented and she came up with the best looks and poses to capture our special day. We’ve received countless compliments that our photos look like they’re out of a movie and it really does feel like that. Kyla was recommended to us by word of mouth, and we fell in love with her work immediately upon looking her up. She met us for an initial meet up, and we were so enchanted by her friendliness, that- coupled with her extreme amounts of professionalism- was charming in the wedding industry where some vendors come off as a little curt at times. Kyla, is not that. She makes every effort to be personable, and makes you feel like you are her whole world. We had hired her right after our engagement photos, so she shot our engagement/wedding party instead, taking wonderfully candid shots and blending in like family. I think Kylas style was best described by the owner of our Venue, my family member, who prides herself in maintaining the history of our families camp. When the venue owner saw Kylas photos, she was literally speechless, and requested a shot of the venue Kyla had taken. She finally blurted out that these were some of the most timeless photos taken of our Olmsted Camp, and she was very emotional to see the family and venue so carefully captured. We all agreed, that these were photos that carry through to any decade, and any moment in time. Thats Kylas amazing ability as a photographer, you see- she elevates her images to an editorial level that is only matched by Vogue and Harpers Bazaar. Her work IS art.
