Best Decision We Made
My wife and I just got married on 5/8/26 and we chose Kuma's as our wedding ceremony vendor. From the moment we first reached out to schedule our tasting, to the end of the night when we were walking out of our wedding, Kuma's was there to help us and go above and beyond!
Lisa was the most incredible person to work with. She responded quickly, concisely and met everyone one of our needs and questions. She assured us throughout the entire process and met every single expectation. On the day of the wedding, Karen and her team took over and didnt look back. They assisted with setting up the tables and place settings and meeting every little detail we had.
And the food itself was obviously the star of the show! My wife and I didnt want the run of the mill steak and potato four-course wedding meal. What we got was a unique and bold array of flavors from Kuma's, that had all our guests raving about it. We even had extra food at the end of the night that was quickly gobbled up and grabbed my guests as they left for the evening.
All in all, Kuma's could not come more highly recommended from us! Lisa and her team are exceptional to work with and made our day one to remember and stress free!

Exceptional Food, Service, and Professionalism!
We couldn’t have chosen a better caterer for our wedding. Not only is Kuma’s food affordable, it’s delicious and high quality. Lisa is an amazing organizational force of nature and so great to work with. Karen is also amazing to work with and skilled in coordinating and beautifying the food/dessert. Everyone loved the food and it made an impression! We felt so well taken care of by Kuma’s team and couldn’t recommend them enough.

Kuma's catering is the best
Kuma's was absolutely the best, they catered our wedding and it was a huge hit. And Lisa went the extra mile in every step to help us with sweets ordering, to helping us get our alcohol order figured out.
Lisa and Karen went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. My wife and I couldn't be happier.
Can't recommend them enough!
P.s. junkyard lipstick is her new favorite cocktail!!

Best Addition EVER!!!!
Where do I even begin? Kuma’s Corner was the perfect addition to our wedding for our late night snack! My husband and I have been going to Kuma’s for 10+ years, so it only made sense. Include them in our special day! Lisa was so easy to work with, and she was really patient with us as it took us a while to officially book! She was so flexible and made the process seamless! We appreciated having an option to purchase disposable sternos/pans or use the ones from our venue! There were so many options for sliders, and we appreciated the ability to customize everything! On our wedding day, delivery was perfect! It was set up and ready to go at our agreed-upon time, and everything was warm and delicious! We appreciate Karen’s efforts in ensuring the delivery was successful! It has been almost a month, and our guests are still raving about Kuma’s! I am not sure what we will need catering for next, but I do know I’ll be reaching out to Kuma’s! 🤍

The food, great it is
We would HIGHLY recommend hiring Kuma's for your catering needs. We recently worked with them for our own wedding and it could not have been better! We tried several different caterers but no one could compare to Kuma's flavors! Once we chose our food and linen color we literally did not have to think about anything else even through the big day. The whole team was great to work with, we started by setting up everything through Lisa and on the day of Mia and Nick and the rest of the Kuma's team did an amazing job! Our guests raved about the food and I'm sure we will be hearing more rave reviews for years to come!

Best vendor experience - best of the best
We can’t say enough great things about our decision to have Kuma’s cater our wedding. Lisa is the absolute best, and goes above and beyond to do anything and everything to make sure things go perfectly. We had a few tastings at the Fulton/West Loop location to try different plates for the buffet, and Lisa was always excited and brought great energy and was a joy to work with and even just to talk with. She’s an absolutely wonderful person, and the service, quality and happy wedding guests says it all.
As bride and groom, Lisa had our plates ready ahead of time so we didn’t have to go to the table. She made sure we always had snacks and drinks (crucial when you’re the wedding couple). She handled all the desserts for our dessert table. We elected to forego a cake, and instead went with local donuts, cupcakes and cookie bakeries. Lisa handled all of it for us.
Our guests (120 people, at The Fairlie) all could not stop talking about how much they loved the food. Burgers, apps, mac and cheese, some salad/veggies, and other goodies. The chicken and waffle skewers were a STAR of the show too.
Do yourself a favor and meet with Lisa if nothing else. Her personality and the quality of the food will convince you it’s the best decision you can make for your wedding!
