Kathy and Bill first visited the Paso area almost two years ago and right away set out to buy some land because of the spectacular beauty and many things to do in surrounding areas. As luck would have it, they sat next to a realtor at a dinner who shared that she had a property for sale that might be a good fit. Soon after, Kathy and Bill were elated to call the property theirs. Kuiper Vineyards was formerly Rio Seco, a popular winery for over 30 years. Since then, the couple has been renovating the units and updating the interiors so that wedding and event guests have a fun place to stay. Kathy and Bill, along with their four teenage daughters (plus two grown ones!) have enjoyed getting to know Paso Robles and all of the spectacular beauty around the area. Their kids enjoy hiking and riding electric bikes on the property and going to downtown Paso Robles to explore the candy shops and boutiques. Kathy, a business owner, and Bill, an Engineer by trade, enjoy visiting local wineries such as Pear Valley (next door), Rava, Cass, and Opollo. When they're not wine-tasting, or managing their household of triplets (age 14) plus one (age 15), they enjoy skiing and traveling. Kathy says that she loves the people in Paso Robles and it has the most beautiful light of any place in the U.S. she's been to. They both enjoy the spectacular sunsets on the property and helping their guests get to know and appreciate Paso Robles.
