I would go back to Kleinfeld’s over and over again. My dress is an absolute DREAM and I get to finally wear it in less than a month. You must make an appointment. I arrived on a Saturday morning right when they opened and the place was packed. However, they run a tight, well-managed store therefore I signed in and was called back by Michelle, my sales consultant within about 10 minutes.

I described my dream dress and then showed her some of my favorites from my phone (i.e. Pinterest) and she let me show her dresses in their showroom that I loved. When I told her my budget I basically summed it up and said, “Whatever you can get me that has the most sparkle, bling and beading for this amount.. that’s what I want.” Omg did she deliver. My dress is a BEAUTIFUL blush color that is beaded from top to bottom. Surprisingly it was the first one I tried on. Michelle encouraged me to go to another appointment later that day before making my final decision, which I thought was great of her, but I already knew it was my dress.

We came back after the other appointment at Wedding Atelier (great place with wonderful customer service, too) to purchase my dress. Smooth checkout process. The only thing I would say is that alterations are INSANELY overpriced. They quoted me at $900 and then I had to sign off saying that is what they would start at.

I opted to have my MOH pick my dress up and get my alterations done at home (7 hour drive away) rather than have them done at Kleinfeld’s. My alterations only cost $100 at home and the lady did an excellent job.

Back to Kleinfeld’s though... I highly recommend the shopping experience. You’ll be treated like a queen and they have dresses you won’t find anywhere else. Their customer service is second to none and they are absolutely incredible at finding your dream dress.

I got my dress at the klienfelds sample sale. If you are going to the sample sale and they have the option to purchase a ticket for early entry DO IT. I had a full hour appointment in a room with a personal consultant. I brought pictures of dresses I liked but for the first two or three rounds of dress shopping they let me peruse the racks with my sister and mother. It was really organized as the racks went in price order on this day. They really really really listened to what I wanted and helped me narrow down the choices. My consultant was so incredibly friendly that I didn't feel like she was in sales or like she was faking it (which I felt at some places I went to). Since I was having a hard time picking between two dresses that I loved, they let me go a little over my hour (and they let me in when I arrived 15 minutes early so my 1 hr became 1.5 hrs). I didn't save as much as I hoped but I did get about $2000 off the original price of my dress. The dress was in perfect condition and really didn't even need to be cleaned. I am so thankful as I planned the whole wedding in less than 5 months and didn't think I would find a dress so easily without having to rush order and pay up the wazoo. My only complaint would be that I was told that I could alter the top do be more of a sweet heart than it is (so I would have a combo of the two dresses I liked). When i brought it to be altered they said they could do it but for a whopping $800 more than the rest of the alterations because of all the boning and other factors that made the top already complicated. Still, I am very very happy and wouldn't trade this dress for another!

My experience at Klienfelds could not have been more positive. My appointment was at 1:30pm on a Saturday. When I arrived, the lobby was PACKED with people. My heart sank, I was sure I would be stuck waiting forever. This was not the case at all. My bridal consultant, Antonella, came out to greet me and my party within ten minutes of check-in. We were brought right to a private room. Antonella was extremely professional and helpful. She asked a few questions about my wedding and budget, looked at my "top five" dresses, and went to get a few dresses for me to try on. She came back with four dresses; two of my choices, and two similar dresses. I ultimately tried on about ten dresses, and chose the second one. Once I made a decision, the "headpiece" consultant came in and helped me select a veil that was absolutely perfect! I never once felt any pressure.
Some advice for your appointment.... Bring a strapless bra and whatever spanx you plan to wear under your dress. Also, don't bring too many people, 2-4 is more than enough. This is a big decision, and if you have an entourage of 6-10 people with you, it will hinder your ability to decide. It will also slow you down so that you can't try on enough dresses. I saw a few people in this situation. By the time everyone had their say, the girls were just in each dress for too long. I understand the fun of trying on beautiful dresses with all your friends, but its not a good way to actually find a dress. You wouldn't take a dozen people with you to buy a house or a car, don't take them to buy your dress either.

This was probably the scariest part of the whole wedding planning process for me. I was afraid I wasn't going to find anything! The staff at Klienfeld's made me feel much more secure about picking the most important dress of my life! There were tons of choices and styles which helped me tremendously because going into it, I didn't think I was going to find the right dress.

The alteration staff was FANTASTIC!!! I was so scared coming back after not seeing my dress in over a year. They knew exactly what to do and I trusted them with every change that was needed for the dress. I also bought my wedding jewelry there :)

My dress was a dream come true. Everyone at the store listened to every detail and picked the perfect dress for me. Also the fitting process was so much fun. My dress was so comfortable.

All I can say is- Maggie Sottero gown! Loved my gown!

the Name Klienfeld speaks for itself, but i must say, the experience is worth having. The ladies at the store were so helpful and patient. The dress selections is amazing and they make you feel like a million buck. I would recommend every bride go to klienfeld ( if not for the dress, for the experience alone)!!

I said yes to the dress!!! The dress was amazing, the service was excellent, and I was stunning!

I loved my consultaion with Audrey. It ws everything I could want and the dress was gorgeous! She listened to me and I got the dress of my dreams for my destination wedding. The pricing was fantastic - from the dress, to the veil to the headpiece that Klienfelds had modified into a broach for my dress. I highly reccommend them!

I used Kleinfelds, not for my own dress (which was a terrible experience) but for my husband's wedding gift, which was a custom suit. Frank, who runs the men's department, was very patient when describing the process of choosing styles, fabrics and cuts for a suit. He also gave his professional opinion, but never pushed. He is a very sweet man, and I will certainly go to him for other suits, or shirts, for my husband.
