GO WITH THEM!!!!! The end result: multiple people telling me it was the best wedding food they've had, harping on the flavor and spices (so uncommon for wedding food!!!!!), and the pickiest of eaters who attended LOVED the food. Service and attention to detail was unmatched. From the beginning, Aliki was responsive and helpful in the curation of my wedding, assisting the best she could to stay on my personal budget, accommodating me, valuing a professional/classy/client forward event. I was instantly drawn to her personality and communication. Kostas was amazing too, genuinely caring about his food and my experience as a bride on my wedding day. I felt so taken care of. As someone artistic and aesthetically driven, I communicated my vision and they made it happen seamlessly!!! Down to the glassware (also heavily complemented). All organic and farm to table too. They gave us the leftovers which we were able to enjoy and donate to families we knew on meal rotations. Just do yourself a favor, end your search, and go with them!!!!

The Kitchenina team shared with us the most delicious food, were incredibly clear, communicative, and easy to work with, and helped make our wedding a wonderful and seamless event. Our guests were talking about the lemon & cream salmon the whole week after! :) We knew from the early communication that Kitchenina would be a great and wonderful team to work with. Aliki always answered my many questions and helped in creating a delicious and memorable mocktail bar that our guests remembered, and Kostas prepared the most delicious food for us from the tasting to the day of. We are so grateful that we went with the absolute BEST choice for our wedding, and will be thinking of the yummy food for years to come!

From the very beginning, Aliki and Kostas were absolutely wonderful to work with. They helped us coordinate everything from start to finish, communicated with us regularly, and always offered helpful advice and suggestions. They made the entire process easy and stress-free.

The food was excellent! The appetizers were delicious, and our guests especially loved the samosas and meatballs. The tri-tip and marinated chicken thighs were also a big hit.

We also had Kitchenina handle the bartending, and everything worked so seamlessly together. The bartenders made great cocktails, and the servers were friendly, attentive, and efficient.

We arranged for the Kitchenina team to arrive early so they had plenty of time to set up without feeling rushed. This created such a relaxed atmosphere, and they handled everything beautifully. Whenever something unexpected came up, they simply problem-solved and took care of it.

What stood out most was how professional yet personable everyone was. They truly felt like people we were happy to have with us on such an important day.

We highly recommend Kitchenina for weddings and special events, especially using their catering and bartending services together. We hope to have them cater for us again in the future!

Kitchenina is absolutely terrific. We hired them to do the catering for our wedding and everything about the experience was first rate. Our reception was for 100+ people at our house so space was limited but they understood exactly how to handle everything. Aliki was friendly and professionsal (As was the entire staff). She listened and helped us decide upon the menu and her advice was spot on. She was incredibly helpful without ever being pushy. Kitchenina stayed in touch with us in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding to make sure we were all on the same page. On the big day, the first thing to mention is that everything they served was delicious. They provided fast and courteous servers to pass around appetizers and their bartender kept up with a big crowd with skill and speed. The dinner was ready exactly when it was supposed to be as well as the yummy deserts. Everything ran like a well oiled machine from their arrival and set up through the appetizers, dinner and deserts. They cleaned up quietly and efficiently and were very unobtrusive while doing so. We are very happy with Kitchenina and highly recommend them! You will be glad you hired them and the food at your event will be a big hit.

Aliki and her crew are true professionals. From the beginning, the communication was on point and when we showed up for a taste test, we immediately knew we’d found our caterer. The food prepared for us was incredible and we couldn’t wait for our guests to enjoy it at our reception. Speaking of the reception, everything ran smoothly and the crew set up and broke down the whole party way faster than we anticipated. Through and through, Kitchenina delivered on all fronts. Highly recommended.

Kitchenina was the cheapest option we evaluated for our Hakone wedding, so we were really happy when the (modestly priced) tasting delivered excellently cooked food with great flavor! We also wondered if the high quality of the tasting would translate to the day-of cooking and we're happy to report it tasted just as good :) Aliki was responsive by email and phone, provided good input when needed, and worked self-sufficiently during the wedding -- very helpful for us, since we didn't have any formal day-of coordinator. We did note that several small planned items didn't make it onto the "final" PO, but these were easily included once we requested them again. Overall we would definitely recommend Kitchenina: The food is great, the menu vast, and servers were friendly and eager to please.

Kitchenina catered our wedding and we chose them after comparing both their offerings and prices to other vendors we were researching. Kitchenina provides incredible food while being incredibly reasonably priced. All the food was delicious, and we'll especially remember the "Wild caught salmon in lemon, dill, and butter sauce" for the rest of our days.
Aliki and Konstantine are also both wonderful. They were helpful and professional throughout, from tastings to advice on wine and food pairings, to rentals, the wedding day, and beyond.

Kitchenina was the best catering choice we could have made for our wedding! When looking for a caterer, of course the most important factor is the food and Kitchenina DELIVERED. It was love at first bite during our tasting, and I remember saying I can’t believe to have the best food I’ve had at a wedding at our actual wedding. And lo and behold this was echoed throughout our wedding night where multiple guests brought up just how good the food was (especially the guava chipotle chicken thighs, in case you are looking for recommendations!). Secondly, the service the day of the wedding was incredible, and we had several guests note that the bartenders were hilarious and kept the vibes high the whole night. Thirdly, the service that WE received as a couple during the planning process was amazing. There were times I called Aliki panicked about our menu selections and wondering if we should make changes to account for every dietary preference, and she went out of her way to calm me down remind us that while they absolutely have a way to accommodate restrictions, that its our day and we should pick what WE want to eat on our wedding day. We did, and it was an amazing choice (and the guests thought so too). Also, my (now!) husbands family speaks Spanish only, and Kitchenina brought in a Spanish speaking bartender so they would be able to communicate with his family directly. This was not something we thought about asking, but we are so grateful they thought of this because it was such a kind gesture and the family really appreciated it.

Overall, Kitchenina is awesome and we would work with them in a heartbeat if we are ever in a situation to cater a large event again! We could not imagine choosing anyone else to help make our wedding amazing

Kitchenina was exceptional from start to finish and is an easy recommendation for anyone planning an event. The food was a major highlight of our wedding. Multiple guests went out of their way to rave about the tri tip and the chicken, and the Greek salad was one of the best I’ve had. Portions were generous, flavors were excellent, and everything was served hot and on time.

Aliki and her team were professional, organized, and very easy to work with throughout the planning process. Communication was clear, timelines were handled smoothly, and execution on the day of the wedding was seamless. They were calm, efficient, and clearly experienced with large events.

We hired Kitchenina for our wedding at Gallery 308 in San Francisco and couldn’t have been happier with our experience.

From the start Aliki and Kostas were very responsive and thoughtful, and went above and beyond in every aspect of our planning.

Our reception dinner was amazing and exactly what we had imagined for our wedding. We can’t count how many of our guests came up to us during the wedding to share how much they enjoyed the food. And not to mention how thoughtful it was that Kostas personally served us our meal to ensure we had time to enjoy our food during a very busy wedding.

In addition to the delicious food we were most impressed when we saw how they operated during the day of the wedding, managing the entire serving staff, and executing a pretty big flip between the ceremony and reception without a hitch.

Overall we could not speak higher of the Kitchenina staff and would hire them again if given the chance.
