The Kirkland House is a 1911 Edwardian farmhouse located in Ladner, British Columbia. The house and grounds are available for rent for weddings, meetings and other functions.

  • § The Barn provides a large venue capable of serving 250 people (weddings are not permitted at this time).
  • § The Kirkland House provides a more intimate setting for up to 40 people in a seated capacity, or 65 people standing.
  • § The Garden provides a lovely outdoor setting for large and small gatherings.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous the house, the gardens it was a dream come true for our wedding day! Unfortunately the problem with the Corporation of Delta took it over. They're very disorganized, calls weren't returned. They changed contracts on us twice. Over all we were very pleased and super happy with our day and the amount we paid to rent the facility, just a little stressed and frustrated with the events leading up.

EThe venue was absolutely beautiful! More then we could hope for! The problem was with the corporation of delta. Our phone calls weren't returned. Our emails were ignored. My husband was phoned at work at 10:30a.m on the day o f the rehearsal dinner saying that the contract that we signed months ago wasn't received and we had until noon to send it or the rehearsal dinner would be canceled! He had resent the contract 2 weeks before!!!! I resent the contract AGAIN and was told it wasn't received! It was sent from different fax machines that said it was received. Obviously the problem was on their end. We were finally told to bring the contract to the rehearsal dinner.I would recommend this beautiful and unique location, but put the volunteers back in charge.
