Situated in Medford, New Jersey, KG Bees is a small cottage family owned business. Whether you and your partner are having a large or small wedding activity, you can add a little more sweetness to your special day with fresh honey. Their honey is produced with natural extracts, tasty flavors, and elements of spice.

They are green beekeepers and only deal with green beekeepers across the country. They bring hard to find pure raw honey from across the U.S. to customers in this region. They use Alfalfa honey for their infusions. This is pure, raw honey and all natural extracts or oils to create these wonderful flavors. As a retired chemistry teacher, KG Bees co-owner Nick creates his own Habanero, Ginger, Rosemary and Hickory Smoked extract. Pure, raw honey is the best food for you and they promote this in a delicious unique medium.

The infusion process includes a meticulous process that includes millimeters of the extract/oil introduced into approximately 11 pounds of pure Alfalfa honey. The mixing process takes place over 4 to 5 weeks with the honey being mixed at least once a day throughout that period of time. Once the mixing is done, the honey is hand poured into each jar. The honey is never heated to “speed up” the process. Each jar is weighed to make sure the weight on the bottle matches the weight in the jar. The jar is then sealed with a heat seal, labeled by hand and finally a hang tag with honey information is added.

All of the honey including the packaged honey is stored in a warm “honey” closet. They never pour more than 2 dozen jars at a time and only pour a limited number of Weck jars.

KG Bees offers a range of delectable honey for your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner or wedding reception. Their artisanal honey includes a variety of delicious ingredients, such as Alfalfa, Tupelo, Buckwheat, Sourwood, and Purple Star Thistle. These ingredients are mixed and infused into endless honey flavors, including apple, black walnut, coconut, pear, chocolate mint, and lime. Each KG Bees product is presented with a German canning jar or hex jar and is detailed with a charming gold ribbon and a heat sealed lid.
