My daughter's wedding was held at the Cidery. It was a beautiful venue, everything went perfectly. There was a very nice space for the ceremony outdoors, but plenty of room to move inside in case of bad weather (which we did not have to do). The facility was beautiful. Also, my daughter really liked the bride & groom rooms for getting ready. Also, great set up for the bar, dance floor, tables just the way we wanted them, and a beautifully lighted terrace for those who wanted to be outdoors. Couldn't have asked for better.

I attended a wedding on September 5, 2020 and it was beautiful! There was plenty of space for everyone (roughly 200 guests) to social distance and masks were required, and worn, when standing in line for food and at the bar. I felt very safe attending a wedding here and all COVID-19 precautions were followed.

Highly recommend The Cidery at KC Wine Co! Our wedding was 9/5/20. The Staff and owners were always very helpful and answered all my questions and helped guide me in the right direction for list of vendors. We had 200 Guest that all felt safe and had a great experience they told me after. We had several guest & Family come from out of states including PA, OK. They Venue was beautiful and spaced out. We wore mask during our dinner line and at the bar. We also chose to dance outside under the lights and my pictures turned out amazing! The day of wedding coordinator that was provided made my day SO much easier and she was awesome! Best day ever!

For most brides, they say their wedding day is the best day of their life. But let's be honest, if you're an innocent bystander on that day the bride is often stressed out and strung out with every single detail and perfection seemingly unraveling. Im happy to report I can honestly say that day was the best day of my life.

I was so taken care of, care free, doted on, and felt so special the entire time. The people, the pictures, the dancing, everything was amazing. Of course one of the best parts was being able to cool down with those amazing wine slushies! I brag about that day to all of my friends, hoping they hold their own venues up to the standard that KC Wine Co holds.

This place is so beautiful!! The venue, atmosphere, and setting was the perfect place for me to stand beside my sister as her Maid Of Honor. The staff was extremely friendly, and helped make the wedding day special. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Our daughter, son in law, and her entire wedding party loved this venue. The staff went above and beyond to make their day special!! The farm & barn are gorgeous, and provided some amazing photo opportunities. Having a separate wedding area and reception area was a bonus, two venues in one! Definitely would recommend KC WineCo to all of our friends.

My husband and I had a beautiful wedding here. It was gorgeous and they were very flexible working through the details with us. They went above and beyond to make sure our special day was exactly what we wanted.

I had a wedding scheduled in November of 2020 but was made to have to cancel due to KC Wine Co refusing to postpone us into 2021 during a global pandemic. I highly DO NOT recommend booking with this venue. We contacted them to postpone our wedding into 2021 due to COVID-19. My family is traveling in from PA for my wedding and we made them aware from the beginning that my family was traveling in and my maid of
Honor was also from PA. I explained to them that their is a mandatory travel restriction if anyone travels to KC and my brother is in the military and is currently on a no travel requirement. Their exact words to me "its legal to have a wedding in Kansas right now we will add on a few extra tables”. They told me they wont schedule anyone into 2021 and from a business stand point, makes no sense at all. If you book weddings and are still doing them in 2020 why won’t you postpone us?! In my eyes it is is completely unprofessional and also makes NO SENSE why they won’t postpone us to a later date when it’s SAFE and my FAMILY can actually be there. They had no care or empathy to my situation. I do NOT recommend having your wedding here as the owners don't listen to you when it comes to what YOU need for your special day, it’s just all about the money to them. Their last email to us was when we challenged them on the safety of a wedding of over 150 people with covid was “your next
Payment is due, youre currently late” thank goodness we didn’t pay them another dime cause they won’t give anything back. All they care about is money, not you or your special day during these uncertain times. It’s a shame because their venue is beautiful and we really wanted to use them until they denied POSTPONING us. If you want to do business with people who actually listen to you and care about your wedding and the health and safety of your friends and family, do not contact KC Wine CO. Every other venue we contacted is POSTPONING into 2021, but them. Our experience was awful, stressful and made it to where we are out almost 3,000 dollars.

Here is the final email we sent to KC Wine Co when we were driven to the point where we felt like we had no choice but to cancel our contract. All we asked for was the option to move our date to 2021 if Kansas shut down again, and they refused to put in in writing, stating that they would deal with it if and when it happened, and that they could safely have 300 people in their space. They said we'd have to forfeit all money up to that point, even though their shoddy contract led us and a lawyer to believe otherwise. If you're curious if we have received any response to this email, the answer is no. These people are cold and heartless, and I strongly recommend you look elsewhere for any special events.

Ultimately, all we have asked for weeks now is any level of security or good faith you could give us as a vendor. The whole world is dealing with an uncertain and scary future with no known end in sight. Discussions of Kansas potentially going back to a phase 2 lockdown and increased numbers in Johnson County are the exact reasons we kept pressing the matter. Businesses and individuals pretending this will just go away has proven to be foolish at best, deadly at worst.

Like so many others in the world, my family has been personally impacted by this pandemic. You claim to be sympathetic but the reality is, not once during this process have your actions shown that. We asked for something so simple as reassurance that you would work with us, should the worst case scenario happen. Instead of giving us that, you quote your contract. You have treated us like a dollar sign and not people. You have driven my fiance to tears. You have taken what is ultimately meant to be a beautiful day and added an extra layer of stress that no couple should be forced to go through. You're in the hospitality business. People entrust milestone days in their lives to you. To be so cold and uncaring of people's situations, feelings, and concerns is beyond disappointing.
