Karleigh is simply the best! She and Ragan captured every moment of our wedding in perfect detail. We will enjoy the memories for years to come!

Unfortunately, I do not recommend KC Photography.

Last year, my experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional, primarily due to ongoing payment and communication issues.

I was charged twice for my wedding services. Karleigh had previously informed me that her Square account had been hacked and instructed me not to send payment through that platform. However, while trying to ensure all vendors were paid on time, I mistakenly paid the Square invoice after receiving an automated email. When Karleigh contacted me, she asked that I cancel the Square payment and send payment another way, which I did. While I acknowledge this was a mistake on my part, I was assured repeatedly that the duplicate payment would be refunded.

Over the course of a year, I reached out multiple times for updates. Each time, Karleigh stated she was working on the issue and would refund me. In June, July, and August, I was told she was contacting Square, that they were not cooperating, and eventually that she would “eat the cost” and pay me back directly. She even asked for my Venmo information, but no payment or follow-up ever came.

By October and November, communication became inconsistent, with long periods of being ignored. When Karleigh did respond, she stated she was making payments to other clients, dealing with family issues, and asked me to be patient. I fully understand life circumstances, but the lack of communication was the most frustrating part.

Eventually, Karleigh told me she was not responsible for refunding the duplicate payment, that she had never received the Square funds, and that she had essentially photographed and filmed my wedding “for free.” She placed the blame entirely on me and stated I should contact Square myself, despite previously assuring me multiple times that I would be refunded.

At this point, I am still attempting to resolve the issue through the credit card company, but because so much time has passed, I may ultimately be out $2,000.

I approached this situation with patience and understanding. While I acknowledge the initial payment mistake, I expected professionalism, accountability, and consistent communication—especially after being promised a refund for nearly a year.

Aside from the payment issues, the wedding day experience itself was also disappointing. The photography timeline felt unorganized, and we missed several family photos that were on my list. Some photo layouts appeared rushed and poorly planned. Regarding videography, I was expecting a more professional setup; while I understand equipment varies, the final video did not include any of the mic’d speeches, which was very disappointing.

There was also no one-on-one consultation prior to the wedding to discuss expectations, important moments, or what would and would not be captured. Overall, the experience lacked organization, communication, and follow-through.

While mistakes can happen on both sides, how they are handled matters. Unfortunately, this situation was drawn out, poorly communicated, and ultimately unresolved, which is why I cannot recommend KC Photography.

I'm not that person, but I've got no other option at this point. She did the pictures for our wedding in September. I got our pics fairly quickly and I love the pictures. However, it has been 7 1/2 months and I still have not received my video, which I paid extra for. The last time she bothered to answer me was December 4. After that, she has completely ignored me. She has blocked me on Facebook and is ignoring my texts. My contract with her said I would receive pictures and videos within 30 days. I paid this person $2500 and tipped her $250. I guess im not going to get my video at this point, so I'm posting this to warn others not to use her.
